Thank you so much Andrea - We went to this class with our 2 kids, 13 & 15. It was a mixed group with an awesome extended family from Chicago. Andrea was a wonderful host. The location of the apartment is awesome (great vintage shopping afterwards & cafes etc), it was such a great experience to feel part of someone’s home whilst learning how to make churros. Andrea is exceptionally knowledgeable about hosting and cooking and made the experience amazing- thank you Andrea. We highly recommend this class :)

A great activity in Mexico City - The experience was fantastic. From start to finish we were shown how to prepare the churros and then how to cook them properly. It was a very casual environment and we talked about lots of things besides churros. It was a great way to start our day. And the churros were delicious!

Comfortable and Welcoming Experience - This was an intimate cooking class with a warm, welcoming setting. Andrea felt like an old friend from the start! She was quite knowledgeable about culinary concepts and was a fantastic host. Her cat, Bicho, was an excellent guest experience manager. We felt comfortable and at ease throughout the experience. The churros were delicious and the coffee was divine. We were even given a small to go bag to carry our leftovers with us. I strongly recommend spending time with Andrea and Bicho!

Churros and charm - My husband and made this experience one of our first stops on our trip and we know our afternoon with Andrea will be hard to beat. She was so kind and personable. It didnt take long before she made us feel right at home chatting away in her peaceful apartment. The ingredients for the churros were prepared in advance and she carefully walked us through every step of the process. Ultimately we ended the day with the knowledge of making this delicious treat and a new friend.

Poor - I was really expecting more for the cost of $68 per person. You don’t get your own cooking setup, everything is shared among the group, so it doesn’t feel like your own experience. The host was very kind and welcoming, so this is nothing against her, but the cost felt excessive for what you actually get. I’ve done other cooking classes in different countries, and those experiences have far exceeded this one. Overall, I’m a bit disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend it, you’d be better off spending your $300+ for five people on a nice meal out (with churros included!).
