Mix of Mexican fun, food, history, culture and art - Our guide David did a great job of keeping a group of 40 together and on time. While travelling on the bus he kept us entertained with history, culture and artist lessons. There was sufficient free time. Be prepared for a very long day. The traffic was extra heavy so the overall tour time caused us the not be able to make our dinner reservation.

So much wonderful cultural packed into 1 day - I chose the Frida Kahlo Full experience: Xochimilco, Coyoacan and Frida Kahlo with Lunch. In the am I met with the group palacio de bellas artes. The day was full of culture and information. Just some helpful info- a few sites you’ll need cash for using the bathrooms, it is a long day 8:20-at least 6pm , and the lunch was buffet style at a sit down restaurant and was very good. The bot rides in the canals of xochimilco was the best part and totally worth it.

Highly recommend! Wonderful tour! - This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! From start to finish, everything was fun, engaging, and so well organized. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great way of bringing the city’s history and culture to life!

Too many people trying to sell you something. - The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the place which I appreciate. However the boat tour was only one hour but my gosh we were bombarded with people on boats trying to sell you something, if it's not the alcohol which the same person kept trying to sell evey 5 minutes, it's the mariachi band. If it's not them, then a guy with a hawk trying to sell you chances to hold the hawk for pictures. If its not the hawk guy, then its people trying to sell you souvenirs. If it's not a souvenir then someone with flower bands. Everyone asks for tips. You're just a gringo wallet to them. It was too much to the point you don't enjoy the scenery at all. I get you have to make a living but it was crazy.

Not as fun and interesting as we had expected. - The guide was very knowledgeable and told great historifcal stories while we drove along in the bus which we thoroughly enjoyed. Coyoacan was fun but way too commercialized. There was no history lesson about the people living along the canal and how they survived and made a living. The main focus was buying drinks and food from the passing boats while not bumping into the many other boats on the canal, paying for a Marachi band to play one song and drinking with the other travellers. There were no tickets available for the Frieda Museum so we only did the first two things. There was no option for us to go back to our hotel so we had to go to the restaurant but we didn't want to eat there. Then we were supposed to wait several hours until the group was finished eating and going to the museum. We opted to leave the group and go back to our hotel on our own.

Too much driving and waiting. - A lot of driving. A lot of sittting around with hurry up and wait. Our guide was great. However, that cant make up for the unimaginative and banal tour. Lunch was tasteless and bland, and the tour could have skipped the first two stops (silver store and university) to allow more time to explore Coyoacán and time on the boat at Xochimilco. The advertisement of the 9 hour tour led us to believe that our boat ride would be more than an hour. And, do yourself a favor, skip the tastless buffet lunch and eat in the market instead.

10 hours, 3-4 activities, over half on bus. - Our guide, Barbie was great. I would do most of the attractions again, but maybe not all at once, as there was a Kahlo museum (<1 hr), lunch and market would do again. UNAM Central Library and murals were very interesting, but I understand the inside is fabulosity, too, so I’d want to spend more time there. I’d do most of it again, but more than half of the ten hours was spent on the bus, due to Mexico City traffic. The boat canal is very crowded. It was fun, but I’m not sure I’d do that again.

Do these activities on... - Do these activities on your own. Was a very long day for no reason and the boat ride was pretty bad as it just felt chaotic

Wish I'd picked something different - Welp. Been sitting on a bus for 3 hours to start the day because the bus driver crashed in traffic, and then nothing was communicated to us other than sit & wait (they did try to send for another bus but it was stuck in traffic), the guide has an English script to say for everything, but didnt know enough to answer questions about how much time we had, what was going on, etc. and it was clear that if they got everything with the crash cleared up so we could leave and we weren't back at the bus, they'd leave us so we couldn't go get snacks or anything. We were just told to wait. We purposefully didn't pick a further away excursion to AVOID this much time on a bus. Terrible customer service. Also to note, the page makes it sound like the 9 hr full day is for the museum + lunch option. It's for ALL of them. Even the basic tour. Granted, with this long of a delay, I can maybe see why, but in general?? That's insane. We assumed the option with LESS attractions would take LESS time. I'm gonna do my best to enjoy the rest of this experience since this is our last day in CDMX, but this is terrible customer service. Do not recommend this company or this tour

Bad - The worst experience with TripAdvisor. From the booking to thee bus ride and conclusion we took an Uber for $22.00 back to our hotel. Basically we were charged $60.00 a person to be dropped at the Frida khalo ´neighborhood because of a ticket 🎟️ that we didn’t have and had no idea until we were at the point of departure at 7:50 am. The agent was not clear and gave me the wrong information. We could not even go inside Diego’s house either. Extremely disappointed !
