A unique experience to live as a couple - We did this tour with David, and it was one of our best experiences of our trip to Mexico, living the day of the dead up close, seeing the altars, the catrinas and tasting dead bread was something magical. David made everything very special, explaining every detail and sharing stories that excited us.
Perfect for couples who want to know Mexican culture in an authentic and romantic way, we would repeat it without hesitation!

Dead Day with a Local! The most authentic experience! - We hired David for a full day and it was just amazing! He shared the stories and traditions of the day of the dead and how the locals live it, we knew the meaning of the offerings and the typical food of the season, such as dead bread and hot chocolate. David was always attentive, funny and very knowledgeable. I recommend this tour to all who want to live the day of the dead in an authentic and close way. Thank you David for making this experience something I will never forget!

Authentic Day of the Dead experience in Mexico City with an exceptional guide 🇲🇽💀 - I did this Day of the Dead tour in Mexico City with David and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my trip. From the very beginning you rating that he is a passionate and knowledgeable guide to Mexican traditions: he explained in detail the meaning of altars, cempasúchil flowers, offerings and every element of this special celebration.
We visited different community altars, tasted dead bread and other typical foods, and ended the day enjoying the catrina parade, a perfect blend of color, music and tradition.
David was always attentive, answered all our questions and made the group feel part of the local culture, not just observers. If you are looking for an authentic, well organized and meaningful experience, do not hesitate to book this tour with him. Fully recommended! 🌼

An afternoon in Mixquic - This is a completely unique way to experience day of the dead. Seeing an ofrenda in someone’s home was an experience I will not soon forget.
I do however want to caution those who do not do well with large crowds, smoke, and who have walking difficulties to think twice before booking. In our group we had a lot of issues with losing members and having regroup several times due to people not being able to keep pace. You have to be able to walk quickly and maneuver through small spaces in the markets and I don’t think that’s clear on the posting. This made our tour a little less than ideal as we felt we couldn’t move forward and take advantage of our time there. While the candle lighting was beautiful, that was when the cathedral area was its most populated, so I would say if you have any claustrophobia, it might not be your thing.
Overall; I truly loved this experience and our leader Tan was a wealth of knowledge, humor and patience.
