Truly magical - It was magical! The tour itself was well planned, well paced and very relaxed. We learned and experienced so much! Gabriel was an excellent guide. And the group on the your was lovely. I have recommended the tour to several friends and if I have a chance to do it again, I will!

Don't miss this experience! - When do you hear two young adults (males, 17) say "I will never forget this day and will never look at death the same way again"? That summed up our experience with Gabriel and the most excellent day of events he put together. Gabe was full of stories, facts, histories, empathy, grace, and joy. You can see how much he enjoys reconnecting with families he has seen for years and sharing his love of this celebration and this culture. Oh, and there is amazing food (we are replacing roasted turkey for traditional mole this Thanksgiving) and mezcal and beer (and time to shop for mole mixes). I also have to shout out our fellow travelers who were awesome and a joy to spend the day with. Cannot recommend more highly. This experience will be with us for a long, long time.

Never to be forgotten - A WONDERFUL journey. Appreciated the insight into the meaning of this time and the experiences the smaller communities (San Pedro and San Antonio) allowed us to share with them. That day with Gabriel, we were able to experience both the authenticity of this special day along with the finale of a massive celebration in Mixquic. Very distinct vantage points. Gabriel is a fantastic host, we had the opportunity to do a tour of Historical Area the day before. Highly recommend him as a tour guide.

Great Day Exploring the Traditional side of the Day of the Dead - It was a great tour. My favourite thing I've done so far. We went out of the city early (beat the traffic), and had a really interesting trip. The guide was very knowledgable and adding interesting context and insight to our experience. People's decorations were truely beautiful.

Amazing host but Mexquic is beyond overcrowded, - Gabriel is a kind, knowledgeable, and generous host. The first stop was San Pedro Atocpan in Milpa Alta. The church, graveyard, and people provided an intimate environment; this was my favorite of all the destinations. The second stop was San Antonio. It was bigger and had a more festive feel to it. So much to see here. The third location was the very famous Mexquic. It is beautiful but unfortunately, it is way overcrowded to the point you can barely move. I would recommend this tour but be prepared for the chaos at Mexquic.
