Amazing guide! - Omar is really great! Although I was the only one who signed up, we still went and I really enjoyed it. Omar is really kind and you can see he really enjoys this part of Mexico. The perfect hike if you want a nice view and be back at lunch!

The hike included... - The hike included stopping at two beautiful viewing points, walking through a cave, and stopping at a small stream and waterfall. There is a ladder where you use climbing equipment and go up about 100 feet. The viewpoints are breathtaking and going up the ladder is also very exciting. Omar was my tour guide and was very conversational and also stopped at a nice local spot to pick up lunch for the hike. He was also very good with going at a pace that works for you, guiding the use of climbing equipment, and taking pictures for you. Highly recommend!

Fun and educational - more than just a hike! - Best guide you could ask for! He was very accommodating and knowledgeable- he has a background in geology. We had a lot of fun, learnt a lot about the geology of Mexico, and enjoyed the natural environment. Though the track was initially very steep, we took ample breaks so it wasn’t very hard.

Fantastic views and a great day! - This experience was wonderful and I'm grateful to Omar for the expert guided hike experience. The meet up was easy to find (just sit by the MXCD sign), and the drive out didn't have too bad of traffic. The hike was tough, but I think I was the least experienced of the tour group and I had a bad cold at the time. The ladder was such a unique experience! The safety guidelines helped even the most nervous among us feel comfortable. I appreciated the small size of the group so we all got to know each other. The views were stunning throughout with lots of great photos and memories made. 10/10!

A hike beyond the ladder. - This is a short, straight up hike to a series of overlooks to the valley you just left. I am a pretty experienced hiker, and due to the slippery trail (scree, and dirt), altitudes I rarely visit, and not to mention the ladder, I found the hike challenging. The views are worth it, and Omar was a great guide. He stopped often, and made sure we were prepared. The way back down includes a hike along the river which was a lovely surprise.

Loved this hike (and guide) - Omar was the perfect guide and we enjoyed the hike so much. We felt very safe with him the whole time and he was very friendly and patient with the group. Loved the conversations and the beauty of the nature. Omar even stopped at a local street vendor so we could get a tamal before the hike because we didn’t come prepared (sorry Omar!) but we’re not really sorry because it was the best tamales we’ve ever had 🤤 Highly recommend this hike and Omar 👍👍

Challenging Hike - The hike was more strenuous than advertised. Although we set the record for being our guide’s oldest customers, we are experienced hikers from Colorado and found the hike to be quite challenging.
