- Mexico City - Guests will be picked up from their accommodation in Mexico City to travel to Teotihuacan via private transport. The journey to Teotihuacan takes approximately 50 minutes (46 km) from downtown CDMX.

- Zona Arqueologica Teotihuacan - Upon arrival at the balloonport, guests will check in and enjoy coffee, tea, and biscuits before embarking on a hot air balloon flight. The balloon ride lasts between 40 to 60 minutes of free flight (duration is estimated and subject to weather conditions). After the flight, breakfast will be served at the “La Cueva” restaurant in Teotihuacan. Following breakfast, guests will visit the archaeological area (Pyramids) and have up to 3 hours of free time to explore the site. Alternatively, guests can choose to return to their accommodation or visit a point of interest on the way back to Mexico City.
- Mexico City - Finally, guests can relax in their private transportation as they return to Mexico City.

Must Do!!! - It was a great experience and the transportation from our Airbnb to the balloon was great! Everything was very nice and the teams are very professional! Definitely recommend!

Private transport - GREAT option for kids! - We had a great hot air balloon experience with Octavio! He was prompt, courteous, and everything went smoothly. The private transfer was ideal since it was just me and my daughter—much more convenient than a group tour.
The itinerary is pre-planned, first straight to the balloon ride, then breakfast, then archeology site…. so it’s more about going with the flow than customizing each moment, but that worked well for us. Watching the sunrise from the balloon was absolutely worth it. My 6 year old was provided a small step stool to look over the basket. In April, a t-shirt and light jacket were enough, but I picked up a cute souvenir jacket for my daughter for about $12 USD—just in case. Layers come off as it gets hotter later in the day for the archeology site
The breakfast in the cave afterward was delicious and added to the experience though pretty touristy. Everyone kind of converges there from different tours / agencies.
The best part: Since everything started super early, my daughter was worn out by the time we reached the archaeological site, but having private transport meant we could just shoot a text off to our host and head home early—super convenient!
(We skipped out on the guided tour, which came at an additional/extra cost)
Would definitely recommend this experience, especially for families!

Recommend! - The best experience! We had someone pick us up on time from our place. The driver took us to the hot air balloon spot. Everyone was extremely attentive, they gave us coffee, water, hats, and sunscreen. I definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Amazing time! - It was an amazing experience. We had a private driver named Octavio and he was very welcoming, took care of us through the whole tour. Ensured we had our pictures taken before boarding the balloon. All staff members took care of the whole group. When we arrived at the pyramids they offered water, snacks, sunscreen and a sombrero. I would definitely recommend this company.

Excellent experience highly recommend. - This was a great experience. Very well run and we were so impressed with the views over Teotihuacan and how close to the pyramid we were taken. The breakfast in the cave wasn’t quite our scene but highly recommend the tour they also offer.

Amazing - This trip was absolutely amazing!
I Booked a 2 person excursion and our guide (Vladimir) was spectacular.
I highly advise anyone to spend the little extra money and get the private transportation with Vladimir.
Vladimjr is extremely knowledgeable in the history of the Teotihuacan people and the facts around the archeological pyramids.
MUST SEE !!!
