Outstanding Tour! - I can't say enough good things about this evening seeing Lucha Libre. Gabriel gave a fantastic tour. We started at a small neighborhood wrestling ring where we got our masks, sipped mezcal, and learned about the wrestling culture. We also met a wrestler, Demasiado, who showed a few moves to some in our group and posed for photos. He was awesome. We then went for some delicious tacos and then walked to Arena Mexico for the match. I liked the unique approach to the tour... you could tell our guide genuinely wanted everyone to have a good time and learn about the wrestling but also the importance of it to Mexico. Afterwards we gathered at an easily identifiable spot for an Uber or Didi pick up to get home. I would highly recommend this tour.

Loving the Lucho Libre excursion! - The arena was huge and having a guide helped us to navigate the ins and outs of the arena. Gaby our guide was quite informative and gave us a brief history of Lucho Libre and introduction to the matches of the evening. Loved the small group size and personalized experience. The taco and tequila/ mezcal tasting was a bonus. I highly recommend this tour.

More fun than I thought it would be - The event was a lot of fun and informative. This was booked as a quasi-surprise for my husband, as I don't care much for wrestling. The taco place was good. Our guide was very engaging, and the conversation flowed. We learned about the history of Luche Libre, this history of the arena and specific Luche Libre company that we were seeing. We enjoyed several matches. Note, our original tour was cancelled because the guide fell sick. We were especially grateful for the extra effort the guide's company/teammates made to accommodate our schedule and rescheduled us to a date that worked for us!

Fun addition to our family memories - Gabriel is an excellent guide, he really knows and loves Lucha and has so much insider info. The group size was 15 or so, we were 6 people including one 11yo and it was appropriate for him as he didn’t do mezcal but he did get a kick out of eating the insect snacks. The Lucha match is a really fun time, so much going on! Thank you Gabriel for a really memorable night in our first trip to CDMX.

Disappointed - I'm hesitant to write a "bad" review, because the guide seemed like a nice enough guy. But, the tour wasn't a positive experience. First, the guide was late to the first stop and then he and the wait staff had to find enough chairs, get waters for everybody, etc. The group was stuck sitting in a storage/conference room twiddling our thumbs. Then the "mezcal tasting" was two small sips of mezcal. At this point the guide told us we were running late and had to hurry. We walked to a taqueria that he had apparently scheduled with to have room for our large group. But, we were late and the taqueria gave our space away. We were stuck waiting on the sidewalk while the guide tried to figure out what to do. When we did finally get some tacos it was rushed. There was not even enough time for a second beer. Then we got to the arena. The guide got us to our terrible seats and then disappeared. The entire groups seats were not together, so I thought he was with other group members. But, when he finally returned he said he had seen a friend. He sat down and was on his phone for most of the rest of the matches. Lucha libre was fun. The tour took away from it. I guess if you are not comfortable navigating Mexico City or ordering your own tacos this may be a good, but expensive, option.
