In case you haven’t... - Our group of four had an amazing time with Lucia! Lucia was a clear and effective teacher for cooking delicious tacos, sopes, mole, and dessert and we returned home with new recipes and skills. We also enjoyed chatting with her about Mexican history while dining in her beautiful home. Her insights on Mexican culture, food, and history provided valuable perspective on our entire trip. She also gave us recommendations for places to visit which we enjoyed greatly. Thank you, Lucia!

Fantastic experience! - Lucia is both an expert in Mexican gastronomy and a warm and welcoming host in her beautiful oasis of a home and garden. She and her assistant Senora Eva created a fun, interactive and delicious hands-on experience for our group of 9. Gracias Lucia!

A Not To Be Missed Experience - There were 5 of us in the group for Lucia's cooking class. Lucia welcomed us warmly to her lovely home. We were all given tasks to contribute to the meal. Lucia was very organized and kept everything moving along with guidance and easy to follow instructions. Lucia also included background info on some of the ingredients we used so we all learned something new! The food we made was all delicious! We sat outside on her patio to eat the lunch we'd made and enjoyed her beautiful, lush green yard! We enjoyed the opportunity to experience something outside of the typical tourist sites and to get to know a local. Thanks you Lucia!

Lucia is the best! - Lucia is such a great source of knowledge on Mexican cooking and made the whole experience so much fun! The mole sauce, various salsas, tortillas, and various fillings for other dishes that we learned to make in particular were exquisite! Highly recommend this for anyone with a love of food and an appreciate of the culinary arts within CDMX!

A Must-Do Experience! - We had a most wonderful time cooking with Lucia. Before our experience, she provided a proposed menu with options to change it (we didn’t). The actual experience was wonderful - we prepared ingredients, cooked the dishes, and enjoyed the delicious food on Lucia’s beautiful patio. Lucia is a gem - warm, welcoming, and eager to share her passion and knowledge of Mexican cuisine. A must-do experience when in Mexico City!

Amazing cooking class for the whole family. - Our entire family loved Lucia's class. She put together an amazing vegetarian menu. My sister thought it was the best meal we had in Mexico City- and we went to some Michelin spots. My dad, who was unsure about the class, loved it and wants to cook together more in the future. Lucia was very warm and welcoming. She organized the class well. Her home kitchen and garden were a lovely space to spend time. She brought out toys for my 13 month old niece, who spent time with her parents in the garden while other adults cooked. This experience was a highlight of our trip

A Can’t-Miss Culinary Experience - What a pleasure this cooking class was! Lucia was such a great instructor and culinary educator. Not only did we learn how to prepare several of our favorite Mexican dishes in the authentic traditional way, we also learned a lot about the rich food history of the region. Her kitchen is a perfect size for couples and groups, and it was well-appointed with all the equipment needed. An extra bonus we had not anticipated was the delightfully lush backyard garden patio setting where we ate the lunch we had prepared. This is an A++ experience.
