Good way to see the city but not much of a "tour" - It gets the job done, at a reasonable price. The "audio tour" is pretty basic and just highlights of a few locations. It's a great way to see a lot of the city above the fray of street level. The "layovers" transferring between lines can be somewhat lengthy (30ish minutes), as there don't seem to be many buses on certain routes.

A good introduction to Mexico City. - A good way to see some of the city on your first day. Sitting on the bus is relaxing after walking around and it is fun to get a bird's-eye view of the streets.

Tour - It would have been best if the commentary be given in English and Spanish. The tour was good, we had a good view of the down town. Only could not understand narration. I would highly recommend to add a narration. in English

Not a great experience - So much less than what we hoped for… The headsets given to listen in languages other than Spanish are horrible. It’s nearly impossible to hear. The driver took us under arches of tree branches more than once without warning. I ended up with a scratch on my forehead. Yes - I was seated but I didn’t duck.

Translation jacks not working - None of the headphone jacks worked on Bus 6 so we did not get the English translation as requested when we booked our tour. It was a nice tour despite not being able to get all the history.

Worst Hop On Hop Off bus company EVER! - Absolutely the worst Hop On Hop Off bus company I have ever experienced. I got on my first trip on the Blue line and went upstairs. I thought perhaps since no headphones were supplied that perhaps a member of staff came around with them. Wrong. At the first stop I went down to the driver and asked for headphones which he reluctantly threw at me. On going back upstairs I plugged in the headphones only to find there was no working commentary in English at any of the seats. I then noticed a QR code instructing people to go onto the Wifi and connect through your phone and connect your own headphones. I did not have any headphones with me on this trip so I then spent the rest of the journey hearing very little trying to listen to my phone without headphones but the Wifi signal kept dropping so it was a constant battle to re-connect all the way around. By the time I came off the bus there was no-one willing to listen to my complaints and my phone had completely died of battery. The next day I decided to give it another try and asked a member of staff to help me get connected. She was not interested, shrugged and walked away. Their customer service is non-existent and the buses are old, hence the normal headphone process for every other HOHO bus I have been on all around the world, does not apply on these buses. Do not use them. I wish I had booked with Turibus instead!

Terrible - Don't take this tour! Your description said look for Amigos tours. Ubered to the address. No tour, no bus, no person. We had to join another bus tour. My wife had a melt down. Tried to contact view phone and text. No answer and no help. I should get my money back.

Worst Hop on Hop Off experience we had ever had…. - We waited over an hour to connect from a green line to blue line at stop 10. The blue line bus never came so we ended up taking the green line back to the starting point. Two empty buses stopped at the 12 stop but the drivers said that the buses were not in service. Bottom line we only rode the green line, very disappointing…

No experience. Nada. - We paid for the hop on hop off bus however, we did not get to go because there was a demonstration against the Mexican judiciary that blocked the street to get to the boarding place. The hop on hop off tour does not refund payment. We lost out.
