Highly recommend!! - This was such a great way to see the city! Some of the best food I had on the entire trip was during this tour. Our guide was wonderful, easy to talk to, and very informative.

Vegetarian/vegan street food - absolutely worth it - I would give 10 stars if I could. Absolutely fantastic, in every possible way. First, the food. My goodness. I’m a strict vegetarian (with an egg allergy) and never imagined I could pull up to a street food stand and eat such incredible delights straight of the grill. From tacos and torta made with meat substitutes that capture the authentic look and feel of the original, to pre-Columbian dishes that are naturally vegan or cheesed to perfection, the artistic beauty of fresh vegetables made to look and delight like seafood originals, beverages in flavors and combinations one could only imagine, to the best churro — this tour had it all. Second, the curation. I searched my way to all sorts of lists of the best vegan spots in CDMX, but what made this tour so special was it was local. And by that I mean both that we went to locals’ and neighborhood spots, and to places that don’t exist on a map, let alone a list. Third, the tour itself was a lovely introduction not just to the physical layout of the city, but the way that people here think about their metropolis. A great way to understand the city from literally the street level. Underlying all of this was Sharon, the bedazzler of Epicurean delights, tour guide extraordinaire, and loveliest of human beings. I cannot extol this tour enough. @travellingherbivore

Thoughtful and delicious - Incredibly thoughtful and delicious food tour! It was such a gift to get to go to less touristy neighborhoods and meet chefs and vendors all over Mexico City. We also got great historical context about the different neighborhoods. I left STUFFED and happy! (Definitely don’t eat a meal before you go!!)!

This tour was such a... - This tour was such a great way to see Mexico City! My only regret is not going sooner in my trip to be able to fully take advantage of the tips of where else to go. Highly recommend for vegans.

Yummy Yummy - Food tour was a lot of fun. Glad we booked it. Got to try a lot of vegan spots and went back to some of the places later in the week. By the last vendor, we could not finish the food haha Sharon was a great host and we enjoyed getting to know her and the knowledge she shared.

Fantastic tour! - Our family of three (2 vegetarian and one vegan) had such an amazing time on our tour with Sharon! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the city, the city history, and the food! We ate wonderful food and got to see so much of the city and to explore many places we never would have found on our own. It was a super fun way for two adults and one teen to see the city and it was such a pleasure to meet Sharon. We also appreciate the ethical values of the tour. The food is very plentiful; we had a light breakfast and didn’t need to eat again after the tour. We can’t recommend it highly enough! Thanks!!

Full, yet disappointed - Think we probably had an off day with the guide, Sharon. She didn't seem very happy, wasn't very communicative throughout the tour and we rushed through all the places (our tour ended in less than 3 hours, not the stated 4 hours). We had really liked that we were going to be eating at small, family owned places, but we never learned a thing about the people/owners which was disappointing. There is definitely a LOT of food and we tried some unique flavors and tried items that we'd never heard of before which was interesting - but for us, it was overall not a great experience. Reading the other reviews, it seems Mena is an amazing guide - so try and get her!

Rescheduled without notice - The tour was rescheduled two hours earlier and I wasn’t informed. When I contacted the tour guide and told her I didn’t get a message she refused to believe me, despite sending her a screenshot showing zero messages on the viator app. After this, the tour guide refused to give me a refund because she claimed I was late
