Five stars - This was a highlight to a fantastic weekend in Mexico City. Great exploration of the nuances of Mexican tacos. Learned the meaning of pastor, carnitas and barbacoa. Tonalli, our guide, was incredible for both food and cultural information. Definitely go hungry or allow a purge stop midway through the tour. We plan to try the street food tour the next time we are in the city!!

Unforgettable Experience! Tacos, Chelas & Mezcal Tour Was a Hit! - We chose the Tacos, Chelas & Mezcal tour as part of a team-building experience, and it exceeded all expectations! I’ll admit, my biggest concern at first was that Moctezuma’s revenge might take down my 11 teammates — but as the tour unfolded, any hesitation quickly gave way to excitement, laughter, and joy. We had an absolute blast! This was hands down the best way to introduce my colleagues to the vibrant beauty, colors, flavors, and energy of Mexico City’s culinary scene. Every stop was packed with delicious surprises, local stories, and unforgettable tastes. Twelve Amazonians stood strong, conquered Moctezuma, and fully immersed themselves in the magic of authentic Mexican cuisine. Highly recommended — this is more than a food tour; it’s a celebration of culture, connection, and fun!

The best tacos - Fun night out with Toti who explained the culture around tacos and answered all of our questions. We tried some unique styles and popular local spots, but man the al pastor at El Vilsito was next level. The mezcal tasting at the end was incredible as well!

Great food and mezcal - The Narvarte food tour exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel at home. The tacos al pastor were absolutely unforgettable perfectly seasoned and cooked. The suadero tacos were also full of flavor, and the ice-cold beers were the perfect pairing. We ended the night with a fantastic mezcal tasting that gave us a deeper appreciation for the drink. Everything was well organized, and the attention to detail was clear at every stop. A delicious, authentic, and memorable way to experience Mexico City’s street food culture.

Great experience in Mexico City - This food tour was an unforgettable experience. Each stop had its own charm, but the standout was definitely the al pastor tacos by far the best I’ve ever had. The suadero was rich and flavorful, and the local beers added a great touch. We ended the evening with a mezcal tasting that was both fun and informative. The entire team was incredibly attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel truly welcome throughout the tour. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore real Mexico City street food.
