Great tour and guide in wonderful museum - Oscar was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. We learned so much! My only suggestion is I would have liked to see more of the museum if we walked and talked more, but maybe our fault since we asked lots of questions (and ended up standing/ talking a lot). Great tour and guide!

Andres the historian! - Andres was so knowledgeable and friendly. We appreciated his selection of pieces to discuss. He also developed themes and ideas that carried through over time, giving us a perspective that could not be gained from touring on our own. Thanks very much.

Mind blowing museum and wonderful docent! - The museum itself is a wonder architecturally. The artifacts inside from the Aztecs, Olmecs, and other peoples of mesoamerican prehistory and history are unparalleled. The sunstone blew me away. We got a tour by “Mexico en Pie” by Oscar. These docents are professionals, highly trained and get continuing education every year to maintain their licenses. And you could very much tell! Oscar knew so much and was engaging and really fun to listen to and spend 3 hours with. He was simply great!

Anthropology Museum with Arturo - Outstanding Guided Tour – Best We’ve Had! Arturo was an absolutely amazing tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and had a great way of identifying the most important exhibits in the museum, presenting them in a well-connected and engaging manner. His answers to our questions were insightful and thorough. if you are debating whether to visit this museum with or without a tour, don’t hesitate—do it with a guide! Otherwise, it just won’t make sense.

Don’t miss this tour if you have a free morning or afternoon in Polanco - The communication was great from start to finish. Arturo met us, my wife and I, at the appointed location and time and we began with an explanation of how the tour could go. We were the only two on the tour so we had a very personalised tour. Arturo is a current archaeologist, and a former luchador and Ulama player. His knowledge is extensive and he answered all of our questions while sharing many items of interest not shown on the explanation panels. I’ve not experienced a better anthropology museum. We toured for about three hours at a good pace and were only able to see most of the ground floor of the exhibits (in and outside). I feel much more familiar and appreciative of the Aztec, Mayan and Mexican cultures now. Don’t miss this tour if you have an afternoon or morning. It is very worthwhile and memorable.

Not sure why we even book... - Not sure why we even book this tour, the guide didn’t provide much assist , background of knowledge. We simple walked around and listen to random things that we probably could just research and find out ourselves
