Jose excellent guide - I highly recommend!!! The tour with Jose exceeded all expectations. The way he conducts the visit is light, dynamic and extremely engaging, making time pass quickly. The explanations go far beyond the works themselves, bringing rich connections with the historical, political and philosophical context. José is very friendly, accessible and demonstrates an impressive intelligence and mastery on the subject. No doubt, one of the best experiences of the whole trip.

Wonderful tour with José - We very much enjoyed our private tour with José today. We were able to focus on our specific area of interest in the museum (Mexican) and learned so much! We appreciated his patience with all our questions, and also his knowledge and passion. Muchas gracias!

Soumaya w Private Guide Jesus - What an amazing museum that transgresses so much of art history. To see a da Vinci so close was emotional and moving. Not to mention all the Rodin, Rivera, Dali, and Monet. Jesus was an incredible tour guide and the entire experience he led with grace and class. Thank you Jesus!

Great, wonderful guided tour Soumaya museum. - Amazing visit...both of the museum itself, its collections, installations etc, and of the guide. Historian. Expert not only in the art and history of each onra itself, but knowledge of the museum itself. Being so big the museum, I knew exactly where the works and artists were, movements, eras, etc. in which we had special interest. So in an adequate amount of time (without being too long to be too tired) it led us directly to the works themselves, and thus expanding extensively on information. If I had gone on my own, I would never have seen what I wanted.
Very friendly, very attentive, very knowledgeable. Very, very highly recommended.
Gracias Francisco, Gracias José. Unforgettable day..

Insightful tour of CDMX art history - This tour was fantastic, and it will definitely be a favourite memory from our trip! José is kind, funny, and knowledgeable and the tour exceeded our expectations. He enthusiastically answered all our our questions, and encouraged thoughtful insight. It felt like being with a friend, which was exactly what we were looking for. We also booked a muralism tour with José, which was equally memorable. If you're looking to learn more about Mexican art, history, and culture, don't hesitate to book with José!

Soumaya Museum: Must-see in Mexico City - Excellent tour to know the essentials of the Soumaya museum. José Vicente is a connoisseur and lover of art, at the same time, he makes your tour enjoyable. A unique opportunity to know, enjoy and marvel at that museum. Thank you to José Vicente for teaching us so much. We enjoyed it very, great experience.

This museum is worth a visit - This museum has a wonderful design, with a lay out that resembles Guggenheim in New York in that you can start from the top and then walk down floor-to-floor. The top floor with sculptures (with lots of pieces by Rodin) was very nice. The other floors had some good pieces and some less special ones. Some of the major international artists are there but their best pieces are in other museum.s But several of the early Degas, paintings by Rouault, the mural by Rivera, were highlights together with the many pieces of local arts and crafts. Finally, and perhaps a little unusual, but the bathrooms are spectacularly nice and are a must visit too!
