Great trip! Guide was... - Great trip! Guide was very knowledgeable and was able to communicate in both Espanol and English to the split tour. Driver was great and drove with care. Good experience at all 3 stops. Food stop was ok, lots of vendors at the artisanal shop and teotihuacan. But overall, learned a lot and had a great experience

Great - Good experience that allowed us to learn more about the history of Mexico with a small group of 10 people—not overwhelming and just enough to strike up a mix of conversations. Good blend of time together and free time to explore. Guide and driver were attentive and friendly. They impressively and seamlessly switched between English and Spanish based on the needs of the group.

History & architecture all in one - Our full day trip was varied and very informative despite our excellent tour guide Raphael having to be bi lingual (Spanidh & English) with all the information he gave us throughout the day. We started with a quuck stop in Tlatelolco, which was an interesting ruin site site with a beautiful cathedral. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to walk around in there but got lots of information about it and a will to come back again. The 2nd stop of the day was the highlight: Teotihuacan…with more pyramids than you could count and stretching as far as the eye could see. Highlight of the day was being able to climb up the very high steps and step incline of the pyramide of the moon. The view from the first level, the highest you are allowed to climb up to these days, was magnificent. Well worth the heart pounding and the heavy breathing. We spent quite a long time on site, so we all got our opportunities to feel the atmosphere and take all the photos we could possibly want. By this time we were all pretty hungry and a bit tired, so my recommendation is to bring plenty of water and something small to eat to keep you going until it’s time for a late lunch. The final stop to Guadalupe will probably be more spectacular for anyone being religious, but even if you are not you will still get to see beautiful architecture and find out the history of the place. I can totally recommend this trip to anyone with interest in history and architecture, so why not give it a go! 😀

Top Value – All the highlights in one day - I stayed in a hotel in the city centre and was picked up right there – very convenient. Pick-up was scheduled for 9:00 a.m., but the van was already there at 8:30 a.m., which was no problem. The journey began with a visit to the ruins of Tlatelolco near the city centre. There was a short explanation about the history of Mexico City, which was very interesting. Afterwards we went to a tasting of Mexican drinks, also with a short introduction. The drinks were good and sometimes strong, but there was enough time to go to the toilet. The sale was pleasant and non-intrusive. Afterwards we drove to Teotihuacan, where our friendly tour guide explained everything in detail. We had enough time to visit the Temple of the Sun and the Temple of the Moon. However, the distance to the end of the Road of the Dead (about 2 km) was not feasible in the available time. Nevertheless, we could see the main attractions. For lunch we stopped at the same place as the tasting. There was a buffet accompanied by a mariachi band and a local music group. It is advisable to keep some change ready for tips. The buffet was rich and sufficient for about 18 USD. The last stop was the Basílica de Guadalupe. There we had enough time and detailed explanations to explore the church complex and the surrounding area. If you want to go into more detail, you can always come back as there is a lot to see, but the time was sufficient for an overview. Conclusion: The tour was very good for value for money. It includes all the important sights and gives a successful overview of the region.

I signed up for a tour in... - I signed up for a tour in English, and ended up the only one in the group who didn’t speak Spanish. The guide was careful to deliver his information in both languages.

Low quality - I had more expectations about the excursion. The visit to the pyramids was fine, but previously we visited a commercial location, which was the first thing we did where we were too long. After the pyramids, we ate here again too. The food was very normal and the time spent was short Then we went to the Virgin of Gualupe where the employee of another store told us his story and the visit to the church we made with the guide because we asked him, since at first it seemed that we would do it for free In addition, the tour was in Spanish but we were going with a group of 8 French with an interpreter who in each explanation of the guide translated his comments what made the excursion slow and heavy... In short, we went through everything agreed but I expected more quality in the Service

Not to be repeated - I signed up for an English speaking tour. The tour was bilingual with most of the talking in Spanish a language I don’t know at all. I didn’t pay big bucks for a bilingual tour. The tour also went from tourist trap to trap! I would not recommend this to anyone nor would I go again.
