A great tour! - I highly recommend this tour with Ernesto and our driver Marco. Pickup from our hotel was punctual, the pickup van is comfy. This tour is a small group and it’s nice to be able to get to know everyone in the group a little bit. First stop is breakfast in the cave restaurant, the enchiladas were spectacular! Ernesto took the time to greet each one of us personally and learn all of our names. After the great breakfast we visited an obsidian/ artisanal workshop on the way and learned about the different appearances of the volcanic glass and the crafts they make. We learned about the fascinating uses of nopal and agave plants and even got to try different types of liquors made from them. They were very strong, but also very delicious! There was some time to use the bathroom here and shop around before heading to the archeological site. Once we got to the site, be warned, the day may start cold and be cold during breakfast in the cave, but by noon at the site it was very hot, very sunny, not too much shade, but very stunning. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and water! Ernesto, our tour guide is very passionate about history and was informative about each temple and patient to answer our questions. we had sufficient time to climb and explore on our own as well. There is so much to see and take in. After touring the temples we had a moment to grab some waters and ice cream on the way back to the car. Overall an extremely informative and lovely day trip. If you’re staying any time in CDMX you must take this tour!

Small group tour with our new friends - Perfecto! Ernesto provided the insights and Pablo provided the navigation. A Together they orchestrated a passionate and well paced tour that started with a very good breakfast in a cave, a stop where we were treated to an artisan demonstration and tequila sampling, and highlighted by the tour of the temples of Teotihuacan. Ernesto made the education very interactive and helped create a bond with our fellow travelers that added to the experience. Bravo!
