Participants will board a traditional trajinera — a vibrant, flat-bottom wooden boat that glides across a lake, part of the historic canals. Unlike the bustling party boats often anticipated by visitors, this experience unfolds in the tranquil ecological reserve, providing a serene and immersive environment.

During the two-hour journey across the lake, guests will be surrounded by native vegetation, ahuejote trees, aquatic plants, and chinampa farmland. The reserve is a haven for herons, ducks, migratory birds, and other wildlife that flourish in this ecosystem.

In one of the lake’s most peaceful areas, participants will be guided through a private meditation and live sound bath. The instruments harmonize with the natural sounds of birds and water, offering a profoundly relaxing experience.

Light snacks and natural beverages are provided on the return trip. After disembarking, there will be an opportunity to use the restrooms before heading back to the original meeting point in Roma Norte. Please be aware that road transportation between Roma Norte and the park takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours each way, depending on traffic.

• Pick-up time is at 8:15 am. The drive to Xochimilco Ecological Park takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic.
• At 9:30 am we will then enjoy a two-hour private trajinera experience on the lake.
• Around 11:45 am, we will drive back to Roma Norte, this takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
• For safety and to maintain the integrity of the meditation experience, this experience is available for guests ages 12 and older.
• This experience is not wheelchair accessible, as the ecological park terrain may not be suitable for wheelchairs.
