Wonderful dawn encounter with Nature - The sunrise experience in Xochimilco was really wonderful. I was very happy to see the sunrise in the middle of a space so full of peace, with very special sounds and sensations, perform a particularly enriching meditation, and then enjoy a healthy and pleasant breakfast. The accompaniment and explanations of the people of Vitali Spa, were excellent. I absolutely and completely recommend this experience!

Unrivaled Mexico City experience - For those of you wanting something off the beaten path and unique.....this is a hidden gem. First there is the spa with it's products and services, calm serene surroundings meant to bring peace in the middle of a bustling city with 20 million people. This is an oasis. I had heard of the canal boats of Xochimilco, but the guy from Casa Sabina told me those are really just party boats. Not really what I was seeking. So I signed up for this sunrise soundbath eco tour. Met at the spa and they drove me to the destination, we got in the kayak while it was still dark, hearing frogs and birds, the breeze, it smelled so clean and fresh. Marcos guided us and told me all about the conservation, purpose, local farms. As a biologist he was knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, especially the birds and salamanders. We arrived at a farm plot to have tea or coffee, then a meditation accompanied by a sound bath. So lovely as the sun rose. To be followed by a perfect lunch that embodied farm to table as we ate at a table on the farm, surrounded by the plants, crops and next to a canal. The trip back was under lighter conditions with herons, ibis, egrets, luscious flowers everywhere as others began to wake up.
10 out of 10 would recommend and do again, such an escape, I felt safe, informed and part of nature. Spoil yourself with this experience.

Stunning experience with a wonderful host - One of our best experiences in Mexico City. While the weather is cold and you do have to wake up early - Alberto does EVERYTHING to make this enjoyable. He provided us with a warm scented wrap to put around our necks.
On the drive there he gave us a little intro to himself, his family and a short history lesson on Mexico City.
We canoed through the canals along with a guide that was a botanist who explained everything in great detail in English. We watched the sunrise, and the beautiful mist over the water disappear. Then enjoyed a coffee, learned about the Chinampas, Alberto guided us through a meditation and we ate a simple farm breakfast.
It was simple, educational, peaceful and such an amazing place/experience. Alberto was such a genuine person and was a really great host to us. We would strongly recommend him and this tour for anyone that wants to see a different side to Mexico City.

Unforgettable! - A revitalizing experience, the experience takes you in a kayak to the non-touristy area of Xochimilco. Marcos, a biologist, explained to us all kinds of important information about the habitat and answered all our questions regarding the history, flora and fauna of the lake.
The breakfast was delicious and the yoga session is in a peaceful area, which includes sound healing with bowls. 100% recommended. A thousand thanks to Constanza, Arita & Marcos for an unforgettable experience!

A mini spiritual awakening - Awesome experience. I feel revitalized. What a great concept to combine a Xochimilco tour with spiritual activities.

A great alternative to typical tourist boats - This was a really special way to see Xochimilco! It's quiet and all yours at that time of morning. We saw no other tourists. We used a canoe vs the standard tourist boats typically at the site. It's nice to do this as a couple vs having children as it's really early and really cold. Be prepared for that with layers. I loved the organic farm and breakfast. The only suggestion I would make to the operator is to share with guests the history of Xochimilco and its importance to the discovery of Mexico City.

Bliss - Overall we had a wonderful time.
My wife and I did not want to partake in the 'party boats-trajineras' but did want to experience the canals and step onto a chinanpa. Although we normally do yoga and meditation often, we knew that we were going to be fatigued from our prior travel days and would not like to partake of the yoga and medication piece. Our wonderful guide complied and while yoga and meditation took place, we rested and drank tea/coffee while enjoying a beautiful sunrise over
I have only one suggestion for this amazing experience to improve slightly.
I wished that on arrival, or immediately after getting into the suv, there would have been a brief introduction of people involved, their roles, as well as brief day layout.
Another thing I am personally learning when using Viator is that 'Private Transportation" does not mean Private experience for your group only.
One person traveling solo was obviously very ill with a viral illness and feel this person put all others at risk by partaking in this experience. If this were a 'Private' experience there is less risk of such travel exposures. I will need to be more careful when booking via Viator.

Host did not show - Day was ruined - Would give zero stars if I could. When I booked this experience I received confirmation that it was confirmed. However, when I showed up for the 5:10 am pickup, there was absolutely no one there. I waited thirty minutes and messaged the host with no response and proceeded to call Trip Advisor customer service. They too sent the host an email and I was told to wait another half hour before giving them a call back. Surprise, no one showed up by 6am. Needless to say, I requested a refund. Book at your own risk. This kind of ruined our day.
