an unforgettable desert experience for our family - The highlight of our trip to Morocco was a camel ride through the desert with a night in a camp. We and our children aged 14, 13 and 11 found it an incomparable experience. In the morning we first visited the old ksar of M'Hamid where Abderrahmane told us a lot about daily life. Then our trip left where we were accompanied by three more sympathetic camel escorts. It was a penetrating experience to experience the beautiful nature and silence of the desert from the back of a dromedary. We now understand why this is the 'ship of the desert'. We ate a super tasty lunch under a tamarisk tree and rest there at the hottest time of the day. In the evening we arrived at the camp just in time to see a beautiful sunset from a sand dune, and we were able to enjoy the sun. Our guides tried to make us feel good in all kinds of ways in the evening. The children loved telling each other riddles and singing together and making music by the campfire. After a quiet night we left in the morning back on our dromedaries to M'Hamid where we said goodbye warmly. We are so charmed by our handlers. They were absolutely top!

Wonderful highlight - It was fantastically beautiful with Abdul. Private tour of the Sahara with picnic on the dune and drinking fresh camel milk. We were taken care of and felt totally comfortable even in his accommodation. At the end of the campfire with music from him and his crew. Delicious breakfast. We will come back and look forward to it. Really recommended.
