Day 1: Agadir – Taroudante – Taliouine – Foum Zguid – Erg Chegaga
Erg Chigaga - Departing early in the morning, the journey begins towards the historic town of Taroudant, often referred to as “Little Marrakech.” Enjoy the vibrant colors of the spice and clothing markets. A visit to a women’s cooperative is possible. The journey continues to Taliouine, the center of the saffron region, where tea infused with saffron can be savored. The route then leads to Foum Zguid.
The next destination is the vast sand dunes of Erg Chegaga. Here, a picturesque sunset can be admired, followed by a camel ride. Dinner is served, and the night is spent in nomadic tents under a starlit sky in a Berber bivouac in the heart of the Sahara desert.
Day 2: Erg Chigaga Desert
Erg Chigaga - After breakfast, prepare for an adventurous day. A camel ride through palm groves and sand dunes awaits. Embrace the nomadic lifestyle and enjoy their daily adventures. A traditional Nomad meal is provided during a break among the oases, shaded by palm trees. Following this, the camel trek continues to the Bivouac to witness the stunning sunset.
Day 3: Erg Chigaga – Iriqui Lake – Taliouine – Taroudante – Agadir
Agadir - After enjoying the sunrise and breakfast at the camp, it’s time to return to Agadir. The journey begins with an off-road route around Iriki Lake to reach the main road. The return trip passes through Foum-Zguid, with a coffee stop, before continuing to Taznakht and having lunch in Taliouine. After several hours of travel, Agadir is reached by dusk. The trip concludes here, with a drop-off at the accommodation.
