Mark the Shark is the best!! - Mark the Shark was a gracious captain. He went out of his way to make sure we had lunch, and drinks, and beer/seltzers. And we caught a monster sailfish, 110 lbs and seven foot long? An almost 2 hr battle to land this monster, who broke the water five times!! It was an amazing trip!! Best memory of our trip!!

Got Em' On!!!! - We had an amazing time! This charter did NOT disappoint! We were picked up right on time and spent an amazing time on the water. Mark kept up entertained and we caught a BIG one! Will definitely book again when we are back in the area from MICHIGAN. Thanks Mark and crew!!!

THE REAL DEAL MARK THE SHARK - Having owned and operated one of the largest oldest Texas family ranch and having guided hunters for over 35 years I can say without a shadow of a doubt and not even up for comparison, discussion, debate, mediation or an opinion...... Mark the Shark is THE BEST anglers guide for Shark Fishing or Fishing in general!!!!!! His ability to connect with his clients at "Hello" is something that can't be taught but must be inherently learned and earned. UK bachelor trip - Highly recommend!! We booked a trip for the day before my wedding for me and a couple friends from the UK, from then on mark was fantastic at keeping us in the loop ahead of the trip and trying his upmost to make it as easy as possible ahead of arrival. We where kindly greeted by mark himself and his mate Tyler, they where both eager to get us out on the water but not before making sure we as guests had everything we need! We then set sail and not 10 minutes after we where catching bait fish on our way out. After we had a good supply of bait for the morning ahead we then swapped tactics and tried some trolling, 15 minutes in and BAM huge sailfish took our bait and an awesome battle followed. Whilst the fish was on both mark and Tyler where very helpful and gave solid advice to ensure I kept the fish on. Once landed we had plenty of time for pictures before releasing it back into the water. On our way back in I was presented with a surprise personalised congratulations cake ahead of my wedding the following day. DO NOT listen to the negative reviews, likely these people have never stepped foot on a boat with this fishing legend and hate on him because they don’t like to see people have fun and put fish on the deck. If you want a fish of a lifetime let the pictures do the talking!! 2 weeks on and today I received printed photos from our trip from mark himself, once again going the extra mile. Many thanks mark & team, Nath & the boys from Uk (I will be back for a monster shark!)

Big game fishing 🎣 - Absolutely fantastic lads were great friendly professionals to the game I took my 11 year old son who caught a sail fish a sand bar shark and a tuna what an experience would highly recommend. Thanks mark to you and your crew hope to see you again.

If you book on Viator,... - If you book on Viator, just be aware that THIS TOUR DOES NOT PICK UP AT YOUR HOTEL as in description. Also, it is in Ft. Lauderdale (not Miami). We still went b/c this was one of the main reasons we went to Miami. So expect to spend $200+ in Ubers for trip up and back from Miami. Big fish (or any fish) weren't biting the day we went, but it was still a nice day on the water and Mark did everything he could to try to find the fish. (We moved locations, etc). He is an excellent captain and fisherman...just need the Viator listing to be updated so that people know before they arrive that there is no hotel pick up.

work with people who are truthful and honest - I booked a four-hour fishing trip with Mark the Shark and paid well in advance. We showed up on time, everything started off fine, and although we didn’t catch anything at all, alot of promises but nothing, that part isn’t even the issue. The real problem began afterward. By mistake, I sent Mark an extra $650. I immediately told him it was an error, and he assured me he would send it back. First, he said he was sending it. Then he said his wife would send it. Then it became his people sending it. And finally, he told me the money had already been sent — which was simply not true. Since then, I’ve been contacting him repeatedly, asking for the refund I’m owed, and he has not returned it. I don’t mind paying for the actual service. What I do mind is sending money by accident and being misled and ignored when trying to correct the mistake. He avoids texts, avoids giving me anyone else to speak to, and avoids taking responsibility. This is not how you run a business. Unfortunately, he’s now lost a customer — and I hope others take note of how he handles situations like this.

VERY DISAPPOINTING - Just a scam, promotes it as big fishing and it's just fishing by the side of the pier. It has very good fishing equipment but will only let you use its most basic equipment, although for the area that takes you you you will not need more. Be careful because in the end it persuades you to pay him an extra fee and he does it quite aggressively. As if this were not enough, I savour it with constant contempt for our inexperience. Anyway... very unpleasant and disappointing
