Grand Day Out - Although the weather wasn’t the best, we still had a great time on our Gibraltar and Mijas day trip. Lots to see and we were particularly pleased with our guide, JJ, who made the day extra special by sharing interesting bits of information as we travelled to and from the sites on our journey. JJ is very knowledgeable about Spanish history and culture as well as Gibraltar history and he has an engaging manner when imparting his knowledge. Our driver was great and got us to destinations safely. Much appreciated!!! We highly recommend this experience.

Excellent tour of Gibraltar and Mijas! - Excellent tour. Informative and lots to see. JJ was a five star tour guide and our driver, Mr Chacon (not sure of name) got us there and back safe and sound. Very comfortable and clean bus. The van operator who took us into the nature trail was also excellent and informative. Highly recommend

Ramon and the driver... - Ramon and the driver were over from nice and accommodating. The trip to Gibraltar went as far as I know without any problems, I slept most of the time. On site Ramon made sure we will find the agreed meeting place again, and despite the rainy weather it was very nice. The second stop, especially worth it if it would not rain.

If you want to walk the Rock - Our guide JJ gave us some information on the bus there about the local botany and geology which was interesting and appreciated. As well as a small tour of Mijas. Thank you JJ. What I did not like and was frustrated about is the absence of guidance of how to walk to the Gibraltar rock. The group was taken to the place where taxi tours started with the advise not to walk up the rock as it's too strenuous. The taxi guides refused to take us to the entrance of the park or give information, and were pushing really hard to sell their tours, and I really dislike this type of practice. We wasted about 40 minutes trying to figure out how to get there. In the end, we found a regular taxi which took us to the Pillars of Hercules (get a Gibraltar taxi number ahead of time) and we walked from there. Walk was not bad (I'm 50+ but can walk hills), and we enjoyed it much more than if we would be piled up in the queue of taxi tours waiting for their turn to go. The hardest part of the walk was getting down the steps (hard on knees but very picturesque) , but if you had those 40 mins we wasted, you can gradually go down the hill walking on the road.
