This was a new level to... - This was a new level to learn European history, Jessica walked us thru all the major brands that were born in Milan and thru the whole family history since brands were founded till the present corporate status for each of them. Milan is the capitol and birthplace of fashion, this tour is as important as the tour of the Duomo if you want to properly understand this city and how the fashion world works today

Milano in style! - The Milan Fashion Tour was a great experience. It was a pleasant way to discover Milan's culture and history. I recommend it ! Plus, Valentina, our guide, had interesting stories to share about techniques and the fashion industry. We enjoyed our time in the fashion neighborhood and in the atelier.

Recommend :) - We didn’t know much about fashion or the history of Milan, and as a pair, one more interested than the other, our guide, Valentina, was very knowledgeable and able to provide background, and interesting insights and perspectives, and cater to both of us. She catered the tour to our interests and really gave us an understanding of the history and significance to both the city of Milan and the country of Italy. Would highly recommend for anyone slightly interested in fashion and coming to Milan.

I went on this tour with... - I went on this tour with my fashionista 12-year-old. I would have rated this higher had the cost been lower. At USD $251.14, I expected this to be more interactive, walking into luxury stores and touching the clothes and learning about materials, fabrics, and the summer lines. I thought we might even visit an atelier--I believe I saw that in one of the reviews. Our guide was lovely. She walked us down Via Monte Napoleone for 1.5 hours, and we stood in the 95-degree heat in front of different stores, as she told us about the fashion houses. I found her stories interesting, and so did my child, although the heat was really hard on my kiddo. We did not learn about fashion design, more about the fashion industry and business-related stories about the fashion houses. If it had cost $100-125, I would have been happier with this experience, but at $250 for the 2 of us, I'd advise folks to invest in a purse or a watch instead as your Milan fashion experience. We went to the Armani/Silos museum the next day and got in with 20 euros for both of us. We spent 3 hours looking at 100 stunning high couture dresses and had an amazing lunch. I would highly recommend this museum for those interested in a fashion experience. Even with a gorgeous lunch in the cafe, it was well under $100, and we were in a beautiful, air-conditioned building. My 12-year-old was in heaven. This fashion tour is fine if you know what you are getting--a passive experience of listening to fashion industry stories while looking at window displays from the street. If you go in June-Aug, it will be sweltering hot.
