- Castello Sforzesco - Sforzesco Castle is a vast fortified complex situated in Milan, just outside the city’s historic center. Constructed in the 15th century by Francesco Sforza, the newly appointed Duke of Milan, it stands on the remnants of a 14th-century medieval fortification known as Porta Giovia Castle.
- Porta Nuova - The medieval arches of Porta Nuova are among the largest gates in the medieval wall layout of Milan.
- Torre Branca - Originally known as Torre Littoria, Torre Branca is a steel structure built in 1933, designed by architect Giò Ponti, and located within Sempione Park in Milan. The tower provides a 360-degree view of the Milan skyline, offering a unique perspective of the city.
- Triennale Milano - Located within the Palazzo dell’Arte, Triennale Milano is a leading cultural institution in Lombardy’s capital. Internationally acclaimed, it hosts exhibitions on art, design, architecture, and fashion, along with theatrical performances, concerts, talks, and meetings.
- Arco della Pace - The neoclassical Arco della Pace (or Porta Sempione, 1807) was the first of Milan’s five newer gates, constructed along the now-demolished Spanish bastions, and created in the expansive square behind the piazza d’Armi of Castello Sforzesco as a grand entrance to the city from France.
- Arena Civica - The Gianni Brera Civic Arena, known as the Civic Arena until 2001, is a versatile sports facility in Milan. Opened in 1807 as the Milan Amphitheater, it became the Civic Arena in 1870 after being acquired by the Municipality.
- Monumental Cemetery - Designed by Carlo Maciachini and opened in 1866, the Monumental Cemetery offers visitors a journey through Milan’s history, featuring the tombs of notable figures whose names now grace major metro stations, roads, and squares.
- Torre Arcobaleno - Created in 1990 by a group of companies, the Rainbow Tower transformed an unremarkable water tank in Porta Garibaldi into a vibrant tribute to Milanese creativity. It was restored for Expo2015, regaining its original brilliance.
- Piazza Gae Aulenti - The UniCredit Tower complex, featuring eco-friendly glass and steel buildings, was designed by architect Cesar Pelli of the Pelli Clarke Pelli architectural studio. It comprises three towers, standing at 230 meters (31 floors, 152 meters without the Spire), 100 meters (21 floors), and 50 meters (11 floors).
- Bosco Verticale - The Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest) consists of two residential tower buildings designed by Boeri Studio, located in Milan’s business center, on the edge of the Isola district.
- Torre Diamante - The Diamond Tower, also known as Diamantone, is a skyscraper in Milan’s business center, situated between Viale della Liberazione and Via Galilei, and currently serves as the headquarters for the Italian companies of the BNP Paribas Group.
- Palazzo e Torre Rasini - The Rasini Tower, designed by Emilio Lancia and Gio Ponti, is a historic Milanese building used for luxury apartments, built in a 20th-century style. Located at the corner of Corso Venezia and Porta Venezia, the complex comprises two parts, the Tower and the Palace, forming a single architectural project.
- Palazzo della Societa Buonarroti-Carpaccio-Giotto - This palace is easily recognizable for its distinctive architectural feature, a large passage arch created by Piero Portaluppi.
- Palazzo Serbelloni - Palazzo Serbelloni, a magnificent example of a neoclassical palace, is named after the Serbelloni family. This grand and imposing palace was constructed in the latter half of the 18th century by Simone Cantoni.
