• Duomo di Milano - The guided tour begins at Piazza Duomo, where visitors can marvel at the stunning and unique Gothic architecture of Italy’s largest church, both inside and out, which took six centuries to complete.

The Duomo of Milan is the largest church in Italy and ranks as the fourth largest in the world, accommodating up to 40,000 people. In the 1930s, a special law was enacted in Milan (as you will learn during the tour, it was not adhered to later on…) stating that no building could exceed the height of the Duomo’s highest point. Its rooftops feature approximately 3,400 statues, not all of which are saints or angels.

• Duomo Rooftops - With pre-booked and guaranteed skip-the-line tickets to the Duomo and its rooftop terrace, visitors can immediately access the Duomo Cathedral Rooftop (with rooftop lift access).

• Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II - The tour includes a visit to the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, named after Italy’s first king. Built in the 19th century, the Galleria was initiated by the king to symbolize Milan’s modernization and to connect La Scala and Piazza Duomo, the most significant landmarks of that era. Today, it showcases a grand array of high-end fashion boutiques and renowned restaurants, all beneath the Galleria’s vast, ornately decorated glass roof.

• Piazza della Scala - The tour includes a visit to the world-famous Piazza della Scala, where visitors can admire the exterior of Italy’s most renowned opera house.
