A must visit 🏛️ - An interesting and imposing cemetery, large and rich, definitely worth a visit. Even though the word “cemetery” might sound off-putting, it’s truly a place worth seeing. It doesn’t feel like a cemetery, more like an open‑air museum.

Architectural experience in Milan - Wonderful experience! We were inspired by a similar tour at Buenos Aires cemetery, so we had to see this one. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us many interesting stories. An absolute must-do in Milan.

The Monumental Cemetery Tour was fantastic and so impressive! - The Monumental Cemetery Tour was fantastic! So impressive! The Mausoleums were INCREDIBLE! Lorella has been leading tours in the Cemetery for over 10 years, and she was sooo knowledgeable. She explained the Hall of Fame and how the wealthiest families bought spots and wanted to build their beautiful “homes to live in eternity” They hired artists and architects and the architecture and designs and sculptures are incredible…. The Compari Family’s Last Supper Sculpture over their mausoleum was our favorite. The Cemetery Entrance and Hall of Fame was built like a Palace (think Versailles with a huge courtyard in front) and Domed Palace. One of the Highlights of our trip!

Berllissima experience! - Beautiful this experience of guided tour of the Monumental Cemetery of Milan. Two hours visit to see the most beautiful monuments of this open-air museum. The girl, Silvia, was very good at telling us stories and anecdotes that are part of this beautiful cemetery for the most famous Milanese. So hot, but so much information and so much curiosity!

Monumental cemetery - The cemetery was like something I have never seen before. It was neat to see monuments for only family members . The graves had pictures of the people who were buried there. Just by looking at the headstones you had an idea of what that person did in life. It is definitely worth going to see. If you need a taxi to take you back, walk across the street to the Marriott and get one there.

Bad guide: visit to forget - Encouraged by the great reviews I was convinced to book the guided tour. I arrived earlier than the agreed time, but alas I waited for the guide at the wrong point and when they indicated what my guide was I joined the tour group already started. I took the liberty of asking for information and the guide answered me in a rude way so much so that I thought about leaving the group and continuing the visit on my own, but mistakenly, I then chose to stay in the group until the end of the tour.
