In the evening, the horse and its rider can be seen ascending atop the bell tower. The statue was designed by a notable artist who also created many other sculptures in Turin. In the early morning, when the bells of Torre Linguere ring at 5:00 am, it is said that a white horse and rider are seen flying over the city outside the tower.
