Amazing - The Milford Sound Luxury Lunch Cruise onboard the Fiordland Jewel was hands down one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we stepped aboard the Fiordland Jewel, everything felt premium. The boat itself is beautifully designed — modern, spacious, and super comfortable, with plenty of viewing areas so you never miss a second of the scenery. Cruising through Milford Sound is already incredible, but doing it like this takes it to another level. Towering cliffs, waterfalls pouring down the rock faces, and wildlife popping up along the way — it honestly feels surreal. The lunch was outstanding — fresh, high-quality, and way beyond what you’d expect on a cruise. Enjoying a great meal while surrounded by some of the most dramatic landscapes in the world is something you won’t forget. The crew were fantastic as well — knowledgeable, friendly, and really added to the whole experience with their insights about the area. If you’re visiting Fiordland National Park, this is 100% worth doing. It’s not just a cruise — it’s a full experience, and easily one of the most memorable things we did.

A really great experience - This boat trip was well worth the extra money. Excellent service from all staff and the captain was really knowledgeable. The chef cooked us up an exceptional meal and gluten free was catered for. We were blessed with the weather for some great photos which was a bonus.

Best cruise for tour of Milford Sound! - Lovely smaller boat with fewer people. The crew were friendly, helpful and professional. Captain Jack's commentary on what we were seeing was amazing, and so cool that he could pull right up to the waterfalls! The lunch was delicious! I would highly recommend this cruise!

Milford Sound Lunch Cruise - We booked this cruise because of the size of the boat and we chose a lunch option. The cruise only had 14 including us, the lunch was excellent as were the staff. Blake the captain was great and had a wealth of knowledge of Milford Sound as well as a great sense of humour. I would highly recommend this cruise.

Great experience on beautiful Milford Sound - We cruised on a beautifully spacious boat with plenty of seating, plenty of places to view the spectacular scenery and a lovely friendly crew. Also, not unimportantly in the view of at least some of our number, the lunch was delicious with various dietary requirements well catered for. This was a once in a lifetime experience which I would absolutely love to repeat!

Spectacular lunch cruise experience - We had a wonderful time on this lunch cruise! It felt semi-private compared to the cruises we saw around us that had viewing decks jam-packed with people. The captain was kind and informative. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend this experience!

Feb. 17th 12:30 Cruise Milford Sound - My husband and I were the first on the ship. We found a table and put our backpacks down. After the briefing we wandered around on the outside decks. We came back for the lunch. We noticed some fruit sitting on the table and 4 plates of food. We sat down and started eating. Two Chinese came over and removed 2 plates and sat and ate at the couch. They did not want to share our table apparently. They started to bring dessert out. They did not want them eating on the couch. There were 2 completely empty tables on the back of the ship. They refused to sit in the back. The crew asked us to please move and let them have the table to eat dessert. Apparently they had no problem offending the American couple and catered to the Chinese. We are in our 60's and did not want to cause a scene so we ate on the back table. We were flabbergasted by this!! The entire last half of the cruise was ruined for us. What was suppose to be a highlight of our trip was ruined. It was a beautiful ship amazing food but we have never been treated so poorly in our life. We know how Rosa Parks felt when asked to give up her bus seat in the front to a white person.
