Great trip, highly recommend. - This trip was a shuttle bus that left from near Fishermans Wharf, drove over GG bridge to Muir Woods. Our driver Lester was great, very entertaining. Lester recommended the path we should take to use our 1.5 hours of time in Muir Woods, we walked the paths, saw the beautiful trees, saw a ranger talk, hit the gift shop and then walked back to the shuttle. We then drove to Sausalito, where we only had maybe 45min to an hour. We grabbed ice cream at the local shop. Some people on bus opted to stay and take the ferry back to SF, we rode the shuttle back. Overall it was a nice trip, great way to see the Redwoods on a family trip to SF.

Definitely do this! - This was completely worth the money. Low key and no stress. Stop to take pics at Golden Gate Bridge, went to Muir Woods for an hour and a half and then free in Sausalito to explore. It was a perfect outing. Don’t eat at the cafe in Muir Woods. The kids working were rude and terrible cooks.

Amazing Redwoods! - Very easy to book and the trip started right on time. Lester was a funny and knowledgeable guide! Muir Woods was amazing; I could have stayed there 3 hrs vs the 1.5 hrs allotted. Only issue I had is with motion sickness on the bus ride. No fault of the tour company, but warning to others who suffer from motion sickness to prepare properly. Learning about Marin County and Sausalito was nice, but not a place I’d want to visit again. Crossing the Golden Gate bridge was a treat! Overall, one of the better tours!

Skip Sausalito if possible - Muir Woods was worth seeing, Sausalito not so much. The natural beauty of the redwoods was definitely something to see. Sausalito is one BIG tourist trap, full of pretentiousness. Our guide, Lester was fun and informative.

Good value for a half day experience - Tour was well timed, about 45 mins from fishermans wharf to destination. Driver shared a lot of stories and tips for how to tackle the trails as well as general SF lore. Had about 95 mins in the monument, then about an hour in Sausalito. I opted to take the ferry back to SF from Sausalito. Please tip your driver, they work hard to ensure your safety and enjoyment.

Excellent tour - So glad we signed up for this tour! We learned a lot from our guide, Patrick, who was informative and entertaining. We would have missed out on a lot if we had driven ourselves. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the tour and will recommend it to friends. - The tour is as described. Expect to be entertained throughout the whole trip. There is plenty of time to explore the park, but we only had about 40 minutes for Sausalito. There was an option to buy a ferry ticket from the guide and stay longer.

Good overall, but would probably seek a different tour guide more current generation/age friendly. - I think the tour is properly organized and structured well. I didn’t really appreciate the drivers boomer humor (ie. Making a small but tired trans joke in the first few minutes of the trip,m) and this is coming from a straight dude from the east coast who’s 30. He was a great tour guide, just old, and obviously has a different world view, so I think the tours culture is more fitting for older people. He definitely knew his historical facts of the city though. If you’re a younger person I’d probably recommend a different tour, or just put headphones in. it was still good overall. Just want you to know what you’re getting yourself into when going

A disaster - Our bus broke down on the way, had to wait over an hour for another bus. The tour guide did not let us know what was going on for the first 30 minutes as we were stranded with police around the bus. The tour guide almost forgot 2 people behind at one point and was mumbling under his breath into the microphone a lot. We missed our prepaid next massages after due to not having an option to go back to the city after the bus broke down.
