After approximately 1.5 hours of leisurely exploration in Muir Woods, the tour will proceed to the charming town of Sausalito, a small Mediterranean-style seaside community in Marin County, known for being home to some of the nation’s wealthiest residents.
If you wish to spend time in Sausalito, you have the option to leave the tour and enjoy a ferry ride back to San Francisco, offering beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco skyline, and Alcatraz Island (ferry tickets not included). Alternatively, you can remain on the tour and return to San Francisco.
