Our panoramic terrace dominates the Gulf of Catania and the wind that rises from the sea makes our tasting moments fresh and relaxing. Fabulous food and supporting small business! - Angela and Barbara and Rosita were fabulous hosts for our visit. Delicious and simple food where ingredients were local and the star! Lovely wine from the handsome grounds and a great way to visit Mt. Etna and then enjoy some home cooking.

momenti fantastici sull'Etna - What a fantastic experience with Barbara and Angela. The setting is beautiful and they are warm and gracious hosts. Our meal was perfection and the wine was a perfect compliment. It felt like we were dining with family. I encourage all and any to spend time here.

Dinner at Barbara’s in Etna. - 🌟✨ Had the most unforgettable dining experience at Barbara’s place in Sicily! 🍽️❤️ The authentic Sicilian flavors were out of this world! From the rich pasta dishes 🍝 to the mouthwatering desserts 🍰, every bite was a taste of tradition and love.

Unforgettable Memories - We had an amazing private lunch and wine tasting with Barbara and her team during our travels through Sicily last March. Barbara’s warm hospitality and knowledge of Sicilian wine culture was impressive. We loved the delicious, authentic, Sicilian food and wine served in Barbara’s cosy home. It was raining outside so we only saw the surrounding vineyards from her patio. I can imagine how wonderful it would be to walk through the vineyards and sample wine right there.

An amazing food experience!! - On our way back down from Mt Etna we stopped for lunch at Barbara’s. We didn’t really know what to expect but it was wonderful! Barbara is a delightful woman full of love and joy! We sat on her patio with a lovely view and ate our favorite meal from our 25 day trip to Italy. Every bit and bite was delicious! All of the ingredients are from her garden or locally sourced. Oh my goodness!!! From appetizers to soup to the main dishes and dessert. Fabulous! You can taste the love in her food! I highly recommend you treat yourself to this wonderful experience!!

A Memorable Sicilian Feast - Our lunch tasting with Barbara was a highlight of our week in Sicily. After touring the stark landscape of Mt Etna, we were treated to Barbara's lush and beautiful property for lunch. What a treat! From sampling different kinds of honey to wine pairings with five courses of food. Each dish was an education and reflection of the region; each different from anything we had tasted before. We can't wait to try her recipes at home to remind us of that lovely afternoon with a lovely and talented host. Thank you!

Perfect Taste of Sicily - After an amazing hike through the foothills of Mount Etna, we drove past a herd of sheep to get to Barbara’s house, nestled next to a winery.
Barbara was able to prepare us a meal from ingredients local to the neighborhood, including a ricotta from the flock of sheep we passed on the way in. Every course was accompanied by an Etna wine that blew the last one away.
Barbara’s cooking was only outmatched by her hospitality. She even made a special plain pasta for our savage 10 year old son.

Perfect Sicilian welcome. - Lovely day visiting Barbara in on her beautiful mountainside retreat, learning to cook the Sicilian way in her outdoor kitchen and enjoying vineyard views with Etna wine. Highly recommended.

Wonderful meal and wine in a beautiful vineyard - My wife, Ann-Marie, and I had a wonderful visit with Barbara at the vineyard in Milo. The tour of the vineyard and the incredible lunch were the highlight of our visit to Sicily. The multi-course meal and the pairings with local wines were excellent. The lodge and patio overlooking the farm is a beautiful and romantic setting. Barbara is a great cook and prepared a really tasty meal with many local ingredients. My grandparents were from the villages around Etna including Milo and this was a nice homecoming.

Kapitzki Family from Dubai - It was a wonderful experience; eating Sicillian food, learning about olive oil and wine production as well as seeing Mt Etna in the background of the vineyard. The food prepared were original Sicillian recipes that can be accommodated to any dietary restrictions - in our case we picked vegetarian. All courses tasted delectable! Both the red wine and the white wine tasted unique since they were grown on Mt Etna. In fact most ingredients used for everything came from Mt Etna. The scenery alongside was breathtaking and of course our host made us feel at home, adding all to an enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Thank you!!!
