Off the beaten path - We were in Daytona Beach for extended weekend with daughter in college events, but had an extra day so we decided to try this out and we’re glad we did. Saw jellyfish, two gators, and lots of manatees close up… but honestly even if we didn’t see anything it was worth it just for the relaxation factor and communing with nature. Our guide, Logan, knew his stuff so we learned a bit as well!

Awesome kayak adventure - We had a perfect day to be out on the water and saw plenty of wildlife close up such as manatees and dolphins and birds of prey. Susie, our guide was the best! She was very knowledgeable and has a great personality for being a guide and I would highly recommend booking here on a tour. She even takes pictures for everyone and they are really good quality and best of all free to download via google pictures.

Beautiful tour and lots of manatees! - We had so much fun seeing the manatees, few babies also. Our guide Logan was very knowledgeable and showed a lot of care for the animals and the environment. Would highly recommend for everyone that feels comfortable in a kayak. We went at 9am which seemed like the best time for heat and to see the most animals.

Dolphin and Manatee Kayak tour - Ian was a wonderful guide. Although viewing dolphins and manatees are based on the weather and elements, we were lucky enough to see both! He took pictures and videos at no additional charge so we could leave our phones behind and enjoy nature! The pictures and video weee sent within a few hours and were way better than what I could capture. We did this tour with my 20 year old daughter and her boyfriend and it was peaceful and we learned a lot about the animals and area from Ian.

Get in touch with Nature - Great tour Captain Mike was patient with novice kayakers, knowledgeable about the wildlife and their environment and extremely informative. We learned about the three types of mangrove trees, red, black and white. We saw a variety of winged wildlife such as cormorant cranes, pelicans, and sandpipers. We paddled and came across two dolphins gliding through the water in search of food. We watched them for about 15 minutes . Periodically, they would surface and blow water from their blow holes . Captain Mike also gave each of us a small net where we were able to scoop up some comb jellies. He showed us how they glow at night by placing the in a jar and holding a flashlight beneath the glass jar. This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide was superb. We highly recommend this opportunity to be educated about the nature and habitat of the area.

Manatee and Dolphin Sightings with Cocoa Kayaking - We joined a group led by Cocoa Kayaking, 2/13/25. The location was easy to find, based on the directions given by Cocoa Kayaking and our GPS. The wildlife refuge was beautiful and the water was calm; a perfect day for kayaking. Our guide was very informative, cheerful, and fun. We saw many manatee and dolphin! I recommend this excursion by Cocoa Kayaking.
