Jorren is really knowledgable and enthousiastic - It was a really nice experience! Jorren is really knowledgable and enthousiastic about the environment and kyushu prefecture and we could ask all kinds of questions and share in his enthousiasm. He really made it feel like it was our day, not rushing us and trying his best to comply with all our requests!

Full Experience - Our trip with Joren was sensational! Since the scheduling he has always been super careful, proactive and flexible, seeking to meet our wishes whenever possible. The tour exceeded all my expectations, as we not only visited the statues, took photos and videos, but also learned about the local culture, legends and history of reconstruction of the city. I recommend the tour with my eyes closed, Jornet was an amazing guide!

Phenomenal Strawhat Statue Tour - Joren is an impeccable guide and friendly to boot. He immediately made my wife and me feel very comfortable and let us set the pace throughout the day. I had a side-goal of collecting the mini-figures along with the tour, and he went as far as providing sealed figures for purchase in the event the shops were sold out or closed upon arrival. Additionally, he let us add in a couple extra unrelated stops at no extra charge, and shared a lot of great trivia about Kumamoto along the the way. Riding along with Joren felt more like spending the day with a friend than anything. I would happily book him again for my next trip to Kumamoto or Fukuoka.

Very personable tour guide - I LOVE JOREN!! Literally the sweetest person. On our ride he had asked me if I had been to a Don Quixote yet and when I said no he said “do you want to?” And he immediately let me pit stop and shop a little bit. The whole ride he gave us fun facts and trivia not only about the statues but about the town itself. I really enjoyed learning the history of the people and the unfortunate disaster of the 2016 earthquake. Joren also took us to a local American themed restaurant that served Japanese food (beef and horse primarily) they also have vegetarian options and I HIGHLY recommend taking his suggestion of eating here. Last but certainly. Or least he also has extras of the figures if they so happen to be sold out or if a shop is closed and he does not charge extra due to the nature of the figures being made to raise funds for the earthquake repair and really does this for the convenience of his clients. 11/10 if I could and definitely will be booking him for his other tours.

Awesome tour! - This One Piece tour was an amazing experience! The guide was super flexible with the schedule, letting us take our time at each statue and stopped at a couple extra points of interest. He shared tons of interesting facts about the prefecture along with some fun local stories. You can really feel his passion for Kyoshu and Kumamoto. I’d totally recommend this tour if you want to go on a real-life pirate adventure.

Definitely worth it! - This was the best tour I have been on. It was totally worth it. I had originally tried to figure out all of the transportation logistics myself to try to visit all of the One Piece statues in Kumamoto in one day. It was such a headache trying to figure everything out using public transportation. Luckily, I had heard about Joren and his private tours through a review on Reddit so I decided to give it a try and booked the tour through his website. Best decision ever! On the morning of the tour, Joren picked me up directly from my hotel since it was nearby Hakata station. He planned everything out and made an itinerary based on questions he had asked me ahead of time. We were able to visit all of the statues, see the Sunny Go train, purchase all of the figures I wanted, and we dropped by a restaurant he recommended for lunch to try some horse sashimi which was awesome. Also, during the tour, I had mentioned seeing a Luffy x Kumamon plushie and wanting one. Joren was able to find out where it was sold and after our tour was done, he was nice enough to make a stop on the way back to Hakata station to find and purchase the plush. As an introvert and solo traveler, this private tour was perfect! Joren was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Having someone drive me around to each statue and not having to plan out and worry about every step of the way was the best. My only regret is that I did not book the Attack on Titan tour with Joren also 😂

Statues One Piece + Volcano + Temple = superb day! - Joren is a passionate guide to Kyushu Island and the mountains. We were his first French customers and there was no problem of understanding. He knows hidden places all over the island and adds to his catalogue every turn. We booked the "One Piece statues tour + Mount Aso + Secret Shrine", which was simply exceptional. In addition, Joren is very flexible in case you want to visit other places nearby (it also offers personalized tours). The lunch was delicious. Thank you again for this beautiful day! A little tip to book if he has marked unavailable on TripAdvisor: do not hesitate to contact him directly by email, he responds in the process.

Car is essential - The trip was worth it! Only regret was when we arrived at Robin and Zoro's statue, it was already dark. And as one who really loves scenic views, I think Robin's view is really very picturesque. The travel was very comfortable and as one who's an introvert and is not really chatty or shy, I really appreciate the talks. I'm glad I took this tour because really, it would be very tiring and inconvenient if you'll commute(and I don't know how, LOL) especially if you don't have enough time(like me). And also, thanks for taking my pictures with the statues😁
