Explore Chiran, a serene town in southern Kagoshima, renowned for its Samurai gardens and Peace Museum!

At the Samurai residence gardens, visitors can enjoy wandering through a variety of Japanese gardens that have been preserved since the Edo period (1600s-1800s).

The Peace Museum, also known as the Kamikaze Pilot Museum, offers insights into the events at the end of World War II in Chiran. The exhibits feature four Kamikaze aircraft, letters and testaments from the pilots, and photographs of 1,306 pilots.

On the return journey, there will be a stop at Bakken Hill to enjoy the panoramic views of Mt. Kaimon and the tea terraces.
