At the Samurai residence gardens, visitors can wander through a variety of Japanese gardens that have been preserved since the Edo period (1600s-1800s).

The Peace Museum, also known as the Kamikaze Pilot Museum, offers insights into the events at the end of World War II in Chiran. The museum features four Kamikaze aircraft, letters and testaments from the pilots, and photographs of 1,306 pilots.
