Join our interactive ikebana class to explore the traditional art of ikebana. This ancient art form originated with floral offerings to Buddha and evolved alongside samurai culture. Displaying ikebana in the tokonoma (alcove) was once regarded as the pinnacle of hospitality. Skilled ikebana masters will guide you through the fundamentals, including the use of floral scissors, a kenzan, and water drainage techniques, as you engage in this hands-on experience. The session lasts approximately 60-90 minutes.
Please note that kimono rental is not included in the price. However, a traditional Oshima Tsumugi haori (kimono jacket) is available as an optional item. If you wish to wear a kimono, kindly inform us when booking your reservation. Additional information will be sent via email.
