Prompt, very quick, and would hire them again - We saw our name on the sign. They waited for us as we were trying to deal with lost luggage. The driver quickly took us to our hotel.

Travel from GIG airport (Rio de Janeiro) to the hotel in Barra de Tijuca. - We arrived at Rio airport on Friday afternoon. There was a very long queue in migrations and few people working, so we took about an hour to leave. However, they waited for us. The vehicle was as expected and the driver drove very well, even though the traffic was very heavy, since everyone seems to be going somewhere, as in every big city. In every sense, everything was very good.

A feeling of being fooled. - I classify the experience as reasonable by the following: the service provided by humans in a face-to-face manner was very good. When we arrived from the landing, a company employee was already waiting and soon directed us to the driver who left us at the hotel; The hiring of the service, however, leaves to be desired, I don't know if by the company or the site that intermediates, or by both, because they request and present information that, in my opinion, induce to contract a round-trip transfer service for a reasonable value, however, when I finished I received only one voucher. When requesting (in Portuguese from Brazil) the return voucher I was answered (in another language) that the hiring was only one-way. The hiring process is as follows: When filling in the fields for contracting the transfer, it is required to provide the details of the return and return flight, flight numbers, date and time, as well as the addresses of the start and destination of both the return and return flight. In addition, when consulting the reservation, after contracting, there is a tab "Departure and return" that when accessing it presents the following information: "Detail of the return. Return to the original starting point. End: This activity ends at the meeting point." Suggest to the website and the service provider: Offer the service in a clear and transparent way and not in a dubious way. When requesting information/question, the customer responds in the same language.

I was initially supposed... - I was initially supposed to be picked up at 6:20am but because of the London Heathrow fires, it was delayed to arrive at GIG at 8:53pm instead. I advised them of this via WhatsApp. They said okay. Upon landing, no one was there for me. Really annoyed. Upon pick up, the driver didn’t know where to drop me off; it was evident that they pulled this off really last minute and weren’t prepared for my pick up. They eventually got someone to pick me up and drop off at the correct hotel but if I did not bombard them with messages, I would not have been picked up.

SCAM don't book! - DON'T BOOK THIS TRANSFER!!!!! We arrived in Rio and I did receive notice that they were at the airport via message on WhatsApp. I told them that there was a long security line thru border control [not sure why they would arrive exactly at the time of the flight's landing, knowing there was border control to go thru]. By the time we got thru border control, they had left. On the return trip, which I had stupidly pre-paid for, I called and messaged thru what's app throughout the day of our departure trying to confirm the time of the pickup. ZERO response. No one answered the phone. Then, around 9:00, they told me they were at the airport [we were already there via Uber instead, since I had given up on them]. I messaged back and said, I booked the return from our HOTEL, why are you at the airport and why hasn't anyone communicated anything during the day? No response. Then later, when I was finally on our 10::55pm flight, I got a message saying they were on at the hotel for pickup [fyi when you book this service, you enter the time of your FLIGHT including flight details.] Skip this service, I'm inclined to think it's just a scam. VIATOR, you should remove them from your listings.
