A Journey to the Edge of the Pacific

The day began in the early hours of the morning, as I found myself standing opposite the JW Marriott hotel in Miraflores, the cool ocean breeze gently ruffling my hair. The anticipation of the day ahead was palpable, as I was about to embark on the Desert Oasis Adventure that promised a blend of wildlife encounters and adrenaline-pumping activities. As the bus rolled in, I was greeted by our bilingual guide, whose enthusiasm was infectious. Upon arrival, the sight of the Pacific Ocean stretching endlessly before us was a reminder of nature’s vastness. Although we only spotted a solitary penguin, the abundance of sea lions more than made up for it.
