Generous pours left us wanting more! - Excellent! This tour was exactly as described. My husband and I and our 2 friends took the wine tasting tour. We got to experience 6 wines and Pisco. Our tour guide was definitely a wine enthusiast and knew his stuff. He was particularly knowledgeable with South American wines. Not only did we get to taste the different wines but we got to experience several sites in the city including a local winery. Peru has no open container laws, so they took us to a cute neighborhood park and poured us glass to try while we walked around the park. So cute! The pours were generous as well, much more than your normal "taste"! Private tour bus as well. Highly Recommend!

Great wine tour that's not just a tasting - If you're a serious wine-buff, then this is perhaps not the tour for you. For those of us that want to find out a bit more about the local area, accompanied by a few local, Peruvian and South American wine samples, the tour was great. The tour starts in Haku's office, with an explanation of the heritage of Peruvian and wider South American winemaking, plus tasting of a couple of wines. As we were the only two people on the tour, it initially felt a bit intense, but Edwin our guide put us at ease and we relaxed as the tour proceeded. We were driven between locations by 'John Paul' - a great driver - in a nearly-new and spotless SUV. As well as enjoying an orange wine in Plaza Mayor in Santiago de Surco, we visited a local bodega (where they were also preparing various flavoured piscos for a festival the following week) and finished in a café-bar in the Baranco area, all tasting wines as we went. My only recommendation would be to try to join this tour on a day that they have other customers and make it into more of a group experience.

The Haku Wine Tour is little known but fantastic! - Haku made an absolutely incredible effort trying to make a wine tour happen for a solo traveler. I am so grateful for your commitment to service - it was a gift to have a wine tour with you! Amadeo was my tour guide. He is knowledgeable, articulate, and joyful in delivering the history of wine (and Pisco) production and consumption in Peru. I learned so much and I also enjoyed a few cups of tasty wine! After the Haku Wine Tour I would recommend visiting Casa Colina restaurant - they are the only restaurant in Lima with an exclusively Peruvian wine bar. The bartender and staff are very knowledgeable about Peruvian wine and fully capable of directing clients to a bottle with a profile suited to their preference. Table wine as well as high-end Peruvian wines are available.

Cheers to this experience! - Our tour guides were AMAZING!!!! We had the best time touring Miraflores and learning about the history of wine making in Peru. Every stop was better than the next. If you’re looking for a unique intimate experience this is the one! The wine was delicious and the company was even better! 10/10 recommend! It’s a great way to explore the area and learn about the local community and its people and rich history!

Lovely wine tasting - My friend and I had a wonderful time on this wine tour. I wasn’t aware that Peru had a wine scene and while it’s small, it’s endearing. Especially seeing the oldest vineyard. Such a delight. Our guides were knowledgeable and engaging. It was also helpful that a van took us around. We also ended up buying some of the wines as they were good!

Great wine and pisco tasting tour in Lima. Highly recommended - Our guide was very friendly and a wealth of information. We started with a drive up to Cristo de Pacifico for great views over the city, and an introduction to the history of wine and pisco making in Peru. Then a tasting of wines and 2 piscos at a small winery in Santiago de Surco accompanied by cheese and fresh fruit. A great 2.5 hours

Nice Tour, but not Wine Focused - If you are looking for an authentic "wine tour" visiting wineries this is not the tour for you. Instead it was a really nice afternoon driving around seeing some very cool local spots that we wouldn't have known about had we not booked this excursion. We learned a little about Peruvian wine, then traveled to a park, a local tavern where we had chillcanos with the owner and visited a cool coast viewpoint with an interesting story. Our guides Junior and Savannah, and driver Franklin took amazing care of us and they were very nice and informative. Although it wasn't quite what we expected we still had a really nice afternoon touring around!

Do not expect a serious wine tasting … - The guide Junior was kind and we had a nice tour in Miraflores and surroundings. But do not expect any kind of normal wine tasting - especially of wines from Peru. We tasted a few wines from Chile, Argentina Uruguay and (one) wine from Peru. The places of the tastings were surreal. An office, an abandoned winery and a public Plaza. No wine was spectacular. From a person who is interested in wines this was 4 hours wasted …
