Caught 3 waves...first time! - I had a 1.5 hour lesson with Leo as instructor. We practiced the 1, 2, 3 method for catching a wave and standing up...multiple times on the beach until he was confident I would remember it. Then, into the surf on a BIG wide board. The lesson took place in a good shallow area just below the nearby pier/restaurant. I caught three small waves with him giving a small push and shouting instructions about timing. He was very patient while working with a 50 year old mama like me. Will go again!

Most exciting thing I've ever experienced! - If you catch a wave, you'll never want to get off! I came in afraid because I have trauma, but what you do at the beginning is therapy to see how you feel, the first few minutes a warm up outside and details and techniques of how to pass a wave and how to sit and stand. Let’s go inside and the guide always talks to you to generate more confidence (video recording) once you are calmer start the stop, when you stop for the rest of the fun. I have taken it several times because I have a long stay and every day you do not get satisfied, in my case it is. I must emphasize that the guides are always friendly and with good vibes. Absolutely the best school surf - Absolutely the best surf instructor in Peru! Loved learning from Hector and Lorenzo and would recommend there classes to people of all ages and abilities. They were super professional, safe, knowledgeable and fun. Thanks !

I don’t recommend - We got to surf some waves and got the right equipment for it but we did not like our guide, he was not really into the activity nor getting involved with us.
