Colombo - Kandy

Hingula - The first stop on the tour is Hingula. Here, participants will embark on a village safari, offering an authentic glimpse into Sri Lankan life. The tour includes a ride around the village to observe the daily lives of Sri Lankan locals, away from tourist hotspots. Participants will learn about local tools, meal preparation, and enjoy freshly made food. This experience provides a genuine insight into Sri Lankan culture in a short time.

Royal Botanical Gardens - Continuing the journey towards Kandy, participants can visit the renowned Botanical Garden near Kandy. This is one of Sri Lanka’s largest and most impressive botanical gardens, featuring a diverse array of beautiful plants, as well as numerous birds and monkeys in the trees. It is a top choice according to Lonely Planet. Afterward, the journey continues by train towards Ella, offering one of the most scenic train rides in Sri Lanka through stunning mountains and nature.

Kandy - Kandy, a picturesque city by a lake, is known as the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Participants will enjoy a walk by the lake, explore Kandy’s old town with its colonial architecture, and visit the Temple of the Tooth, among other attractions. The night will be spent in Kandy.

Kandy - Ella

Glenloch Tea Factory - The next day, the journey continues towards Ella, with a stop at a tea factory. Here, participants can observe the entire tea production process, including rolling, fermenting, drying, cleaning, and packaging.

Nuwara Eliya - The tour includes a visit to the charming city of Nuwara Eliya, known for its breathtaking natural beauty. Surrounded by mountains, it was a retreat for British officials during colonial times. From Nuwara Eliya, participants will take a train for the final stretch to Ella.

Ella - The train journey to Ella is renowned for its beauty, winding through stunning mountains and pristine nature. Upon arrival in Ella, participants will explore the quaint city and enjoy a meal. The night will be spent in Ella.

Ella - Mirissa

Nine Arches Bridge - The following day begins with a visit to the famous Nine Arches Bridge near Ella, a popular photo spot. Participants can take photos or simply enjoy the view.

Rawana Falls - On the way south, the tour stops at Rawana Falls, one of Sri Lanka’s highest and most breathtaking waterfalls. Participants can rest and take in the view, with the option to take photos.

Mirissa Beach - The journey concludes in Mirissa, home to the stunning Mirissa Beach. Here, participants can savor fresh fish and cocktails while relaxing with their feet in the sand, a perfect end to an adventurous journey. If participants prefer a different destination in the south, arrangements can be made.

Katunayake - The final day involves traveling from Mirissa to Colombo Airport in Sri Lanka.
