Fun trip - Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great time snorkeling and beach time saw a lot of fish and some saw turtles. Saw blue footed booby and many nesting pelicans

Awesome boat tour! - Angelo was an outstanding guide throughout the entire experience! He made sure we knew exactly what to expect on the boat tour, consistently emphasized safety, and shared engaging details about the nearby islands, crags😀, and striking rock formations. Since I was nervous about the rough waters, he showed remarkable patience and reassurance, helping me feel at ease and carefully guiding me into one of the caves. His genuine care made the tour memorable!

We had a great experience with this tour. - We were a group of three, all in different generations. The guide, Arnold, was excellent and even the 11-year-old felt safe in her first attempt at snorkeling. We saw lots of fish and had a good amount of time snorkeling. We also enjoyed the pretty Little Beach where we hung out for a while having a drink in their snack. The 11-year-old is even able to do a low-level Cliff jump and she enjoyed it greatly. We highly recommend this tour.

Highly Recommended - Private transportation from and to the Romantic Zone is included. Very important as the driver knows exactly where to drop you off, and on return you don’t want to have to take the public bus or a taxi in a wet bathing suit.
The excursion leader Alfonso was excellent. He worked hard to learn everyone’s name and succeeded. He treated us as adults—didn’t opine on whether or not to do the cliff climb and dive, left it up to each of us (on our excursion, 2 of 8 did it). Not his fault—the snorkeling was only so so as the water visibility was limited. But there were lots of fish varieties to see, and Alfonso was able to name all of them. I would say they should offer flippers…but we didn’t go far, mostly in one area.
He also showed us various birds on the rocks, and told us about the geography, other animal life that is sometimes present, etc.
He was very helpful in stabilizing the boat as we got out at the secluded beach, and then back in. Plenty of drinks and some energy bars were provided.
All in all excellent value, it’s all done in 1/2 day, I met some nice fellow Canadians and a nice couple from Nevada.
I highly recommend this for enjoyment and value.

Huge value for the day - Amazing value. Nice people. Patient! Went snorkeling and the brought us to a private beach for about an hour! WELL worth the money!!

Best tour of our trip! - My family and friends had the best time on this tour! Everything worked out perfectly including the transport. Our tour guide and captain were unreal! We jumped off cliffs, We saw whales, fish, went to beaches, had boat beers and an all around great time! Highly recommend!

Very Very Nice and one quarter the Price - I would have gone for more expensive option, but it turns out fortunately, the other options were sold out so I had to take the least expensive two and a half hour tour, it was perfect. Just enough snorkeling a Quick cliff dive a lovely visit to beach for the kids to look for animals in the tide pools. We didn't see a whale, but it wasn't peak season for it, and it was very nice to have the short boat rides to avoid wasted time and potential motion sickness. If you get to the drop off point early it is only a few blocks to the main strip of the beach with restaurants and shopping so you can walk around and then walk back to the gas station. Don't let the drop off and pick up at the gas station make you nervous, it's just convenient for the driver and works out fine for the cab drivers taking you from your hotel. If you book through your hotel you will pay approximately 6 times as much and probably spend more time on a boat which I find less pleasant than spending time in the water. Alfonso, our guide was very nice and knowledgeable and ran a very safe tour without being overly restrictive for the adults/ more capable freedivers and cliff divers. Don't talk to the overpriced tour guides at your hotel, just book this, pay for the taxi from your hotel to the pickup AI can tell you the appropriate fair, you will more than make up for it in savings. Then before you go back have a beautiful dinner at one of the top rated places in Puerto Vallarta after the drop off which will save you additional money and be better food then your hotel.

Great day with Iban! - We booked a private tour, not realizing!! And left with Iban from mismaloya. We had so much fun, even though the water was really rough, visiting the islands and snorkeling. We got to see so many beautiful fish!! The history is super fascinating and Iban was always telling us the stories. I highly recommend this tour!

Very nice family experience! - We were my spouse, the two daughters, ages 7 and 10, and my stepfather. The extreme mismaloya team was great, considerate, attentive and authentic. No big flaflafla, a real experience on a boat in the ocean, very intimate experience, we were with a group of 3. The only disappointment is that the waves near the rocks were quite strong and the most beautiful snorkeling area is near the rocks. As we were with our children, we preferred to stay further away so less visibility and less fish and coral. I recommend to all the team of Mismaloya extreme for your experiences in Mismaloya!!!
