Disappointing Experience - Unfortunately, the traditional evening did not meet our expectations. We’ve always trusted your recommendations, but after this experience, we’ll be doing more of our own research going forward. The selection of traditional Balkan food was underwhelming — cold, poorly presented, and far from what we were hoping for. On top of that, the service was unprofessional and inattentive. Overall, it felt like €50 wasted on a night that should have been enjoyable. A sad and regrettable experience.

Great staff and vibe - Wonderful staff and delightful evening. The staff were incredibly kind and the fellow visitors were a lovely group to spend an evening with. It was a great first night in Skopje! Thanks! :)

The food was actually pretty good and the vibes were very nice and traditional, i loved the experience. - If u want to feel the traditional vibe, food and mood, this night is highly recommended, i loved the experience so much abd the food was also good

Great Entertainment, Average Food - The show was fantastic—lively traditional music, local instruments, and dancers in authentic clothing made it a truly enjoyable cultural experience. The event lasted about 1 hour and 45 minutes, which was the perfect amount of time. The food, however, was disappointing. Appetizers were already on the table when we arrived, and the spreads had developed a skin. The main course included a plain meat patty (not the cheese-stuffed version described online), a chicken breast, cold French fries, and steamed vegetables—all clearly pre-cooked and not freshly made. Go for the atmosphere and entertainment, but don’t expect a fine dining experience."

Great night but not solely Macedonian - Really great night. Appreciated tge solo table. Food was ok. Live music was fantastic. Mix of turkish and macedonian music.loved the traditional macedonian dancing. Found it very turkish customer focussed. There are other nationalities apart from Turkish

Not great for Vegetarians! - Food is below average. Only salad and cheese for vegetarians. Music is ok. I did not find it worth the money. You can find much better food anywhere in the center.

Disappointing - don't bother - This was very disappointing and could have been so much better. First, the time and day was changed. I do not think they do a 6.30 performance at all and they just try and gather the bookings together to make enough for an evenings performance. The food was awful. The traditional bean dish was nice and it was warm but the main course had packet frozen vegetables that had not been heated and were cold and the chicken and meat was only just warm. The musicians looked very bored when they started singing and playing in the first half and only seemed to become more animated in the second half when the dancing started. I felt the whole thing was rushed and they just wanted you in and out as soon as possible. It started at 8.30 and finished at 10.15 so was not what I would call 'an evening of entertainment' and not really worth the money.

Misinformed event - This never took place at the time it was supposed to. The workers told me I had to come back for the 9:30 show when my tickets clearly said 6pm

Cancelled on us without notice. - We showed up 10 minutes before start time and the windows were dark and the door was locked. Apple Maps gave a different location for the event, half a mile down the street, so we ran down to the other address, which was not the Restaurant Gardenia. So we returned to the original location, which was still closed. There was another family there who finally was able to reach the restaurant by phone, and they were told that the staff decided not to perform that night because one of them was sick, so they locked the restaurant and went home. I tried to request a refund through TripAdvisor, and was told they needed to contact the restaurant. They still haven’t agreed to provide me a refund.

Cancelled without information - We booked and paid tickets for the event a few hours before attendance. We met for the event in good time and came to the closed area. We met another couple who were going to the same event, and who had ordered several months ago. A tourist office nearby helped us contact the organizer. They said the event was cancelled. We have not received any information about this. Now we wonder how to get the money back???
