A Journey into the Wild

As the sun began to rise over Johannesburg, I found myself filled with anticipation for the day ahead. The allure of the Pilanesberg National Park, with its promise of the Big Five and the untamed beauty of the African bush, was irresistible. Having spent years documenting the majestic creatures of this continent, I was eager to embark on another adventure, this time with the Pilanesberg Safari in an open vehicle.

Our guide, Victor, greeted us with a warm smile at the Manyane Gate. His reputation as a knowledgeable and passionate guide preceded him, and I was eager to see the park through his eyes. As we set off on our morning drive, the landscape unfolded like a living canvas, each brushstroke a testament to nature’s artistry.
