- Tsavo National Park East - Guests will be collected from their hotel early in the morning at 5:00 am to embark on a journey to Tsavo East National Park via the Bachuma gate. Upon arrival, the game drives will commence immediately in Kenya’s largest park, offering the opportunity to see herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles,…
- Tsavo National Park East - Guests will be collected from their hotel early in the morning at 5:00 am to embark on a journey to Tsavo East National Park via the Bachuma gate. Upon arrival, the game drives will commence immediately in Kenya’s largest park, offering the opportunity to see herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Impalas, and various bird species. The park is home to approximately 500 bird species, including ostriches and migratory birds such as kestrels and buzzards. Later, guests will proceed to Voi Safari Lodge for lunch.
Tsavo East National Park is situated 333 km from Nairobi and about 160 km from Mombasa, making it one of Kenya’s largest national parks. The park boasts stunning landscapes, including rivers, lakes, tarns, glaciers, and peaks, with diverse vegetation such as grasslands, acacia, open plains, and savanna. It is renowned as one of the world’s foremost biodiversity strongholds. Notable attractions within the park include Mudanda Rock, where visitors can observe a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, waterbucks, kudus, gerenuks, zebras, and Aruba Hunter’s hartebeest. The park is famous for its large herds of red elephants, which appear red due to the Tsavo dust. Additionally, there are around 500 bird species, including ostriches and migratory birds like kestrels and buzzards.
After lunch, guests will continue with afternoon game drives, heading towards Mombasa or Diani, arriving at their respective hotels in the late afternoon.
