• Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park and Reserve - Following a two-hour drive from the pick-up location, travelers will arrive at the Kenya Wildlife Service offices in Shimoni village, where they will join fellow adventurers for the excursion. From there, they will board a traditional Swahili wooden dhow to sail through the Shimoni-Wasini channel towards the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park. Along the way, there may be opportunities to see dolphins, and the guide will provide insights into their natural habitat and survival in the sea, as well as share information about the culture of the Wasini people. At the marine park, participants will enjoy an hour of snorkeling to admire the vibrant marine life, including colorful fish and beautiful live corals. Following this, they will visit Wasini Island for lunch and a brief tour. Afterward, they will reboard the dhow, enjoying welcoming and farewell songs as they cross back to Shimoni village, where their driver will be waiting to take them back to the starting point or their hotel.
