Mombassa tour - We had a great morning in Mombassa. We were collected from our hotel in Diani and met up with Antony our tour guide in Mombassa. We saw all the main sights and learnt a lot from him about the history and culture. We thought it was a very interesting trip. Be mindful, you will have people begging from you.

Memorable - Our tour guide, Anthony, was very professional, knowledgeable and engaging. He was generous and thorough in the information he shared with us. I highly recommend Mamis Travel Safaris and will use their services again in future.

Awesome City tour - Anthony was amazing, very knowledgeable on city's history and articulate. He also helped us with our bags as we were going to the Airport straight from the tour. Above and beyond and awesome! You wont regret signing up with him.

They say history is written by the victors but truth will prevail in the end. - Having been picked up from our hotel, Antony was our guide for the morning and oh what in-depth knowledge this man has. We had a ‘The good, the bad and the ugly’ history lesson at Fort Jesus. A Tuk Tuk ride, not for the faint hearted, then a stroll around the colourful and wonderfully smelling spice market. Tasted some samples and bought tea and spice to take home. It was a humbling experience to see such abundance and exuberant life in a place that had once been the slave market, a place of hopelessness and despair. Our morning ended with iced tea & coffee in old Mombasa. Antony, it was just perfect, thank you. Note to those at a hotel on the coast, you’ll need to pay for the return journey.

Super Interesting City Tour of Mombasa - A privately guided city tour is very interesting and impressive. You can see the spice market, the ferry service in rush hour, the fort, the old town etc. ES is enormously worthwhile and can hardly be done by other means, DA you are otherwise at the mercy of intrusive dealers. ES should not be completely harmless either, although we have not seen any signs of this. The half-day private tour was definitely worth it. You get a feeling for Mombasa.

Wonderful Place and Guide (GEDI RUINS) - An excursion not to be missed if you are in this area of Kenya! Our guide Hudson was amazing! He explained the history of this place making it interesting and never heavy. It is prepared on every plant, every curiosity, every anecdote. The monkeys are cute, absolutely harmless and really prone to contact with people. Our guide recognizes them and calls them by name! We spent an interesting and fun morning, which Hudson between a story and a joke, made really unmissable! We made this excursion through Mamistravel Limited Kenya (contacted on Facebook from Hungary) who accompanied us on the spot, took bananas and peanuts for the monkeys and entrusted Hudson for the tour inside. Nicely presented and articulate. Highly recommended!!

A city tour like no other - Mombasa always feels like coming home for many Kenyans—but this city tour gave our clients a whole new appreciation for our rich coastal heritage. Our guide, Patrick was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. From the iconic Fort Jesus to the ever-busy Marikiti Market, each stop had its own charm and wonder. The Mombasa Tusks made for a great photo moment, but it was the local Swahili lunch by the ocean that really brought the tour to life. What I loved most was how the our clinets connected with the guide and everyday Mombasa life. And wow those cassava crisps at the Mama Ngina drive are to die for!
