Terelj National Park, Genghis Khan Statue
Gorkhi Terelj National Park - Begin the journey with a hotel pick-up and a drive to Terelj, located 50km away. Terelj National Park boasts a vibrant landscape featuring alpine scenery and impressive rock formations nestled among picturesque valleys and hills. Visitors will encounter the Turtle Rock, a 24-meter high rock resembling a reclining turtle, and can enjoy a brief hike in the area.
Aryabal Meditation Temple - The temple will be explored on foot. Constructed in the 1810s by Mongolian and Tibetan artists, it was later restored in 2000 by Buddhist monks. Aryabal is a Buddhist deity who hears all human prayers and alleviates suffering. The temple is designed in the shape of an elephant’s head, with 108 steps leading to it, symbolizing the elephant’s long trunk. Along the path, 144 Buddhist teachings are displayed in both English and Mongolian.
Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex - Upon arrival in the Tsonjin Boldog area, guests will settle into a ger camp, relax, and then proceed to the Genghis Khan Statue Complex.
Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex - The complex features the Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue, a 40-meter tall stainless steel statue of Genghis Khan on horseback, recognized as the world’s tallest equestrian statue. Visitors can ascend to the horse’s head via its chest and neck for a panoramic view. The complex also houses museums, exhibitions, and souvenir shops.
13th Century Park
National Park Mongolia 13th Century - Arrive at the 13th Century National Park. Enjoy lunch at the King’s Palace and explore various camps including the Guards camp, Shaman camp, Herder’s camp with horse riding, Handcrafts camp, and Education camp. Experience wearing traditional Mongolian costumes and visit a local herder family to observe their daily livestock routines, such as cow milking.
Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve
Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve - Discover the Gun Galuut Nature Reserve, stopping at Ikh Gun Nuur (Big Deep Lake) and Aygan Nuur (Cup Lake). There is an opportunity to spot endangered bird species like herons, storks, Siberian cranes, hooded cranes, and more. Visitors can hike or drive to the mountains, home to over 200 Argali sheep, which live in herds. Argali are considered endangered due to habitat loss from overgrazing and hunting. Experience the local horse culture, including mare milking and tasting fermented mare’s milk, at a herder family. The tour concludes with a drive back to Ulaanbaatar and a hotel drop-off.

Visitors can also engage with a local herder family to experience the traditional horse culture, including mare milking, the fermentation process, and tasting the final product, ‘airag.’
