These sand dunes are part of the Mongolian Sand Dunes, stretching westward from the Tuv, Uvurkhangai, and Bulgan aimags, and are within the Khogn Khan Range. The dunes span 80 km in length. Situated 280 km west of Ulaanbaatar and 80 km east of Kharkhorum, the area is bordered to the north by the rocky and forested “Khogn Khan” mountain. The landscape features small mountains at altitudes of 1500-2000 m, interspersed with hills and plains.
The mountain has been a protected national park since 2003. It boasts numerous historical sites, including the Old Temple, Erdene Khamby Temple, and granite mountains. Visitors can immerse themselves in the nomadic lifestyle by staying in a traditional Mongolian home, enjoy a camel ride, walk, hike, and relish the serene beauty of Winter Mongolia.

Kharkhorum was the capital of the Great Mongolian Empire in the thirteenth century. It is located on the right bank of the Orkhon River, 360 km southwest of Ulaanbaatar, the current capital of Mongolia. In 1380, Karakorum was destroyed, but about two centuries later, the yurt of Avtai Khan, founder of the Erdene Zuu Monastery, was established on the same site. Kharkhorin City is rich in sightseeing and historical attractions.

Tsenkher Hot Spring - Tsenkher Hot Spring is a natural hot spring that flows year-round from the ground at 85 degrees Celsius. It is the second hottest spring in Mongolia, offering a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the natural scenery and hot springs. Journey to Ugii Lake

Ugii Lake - Ugii Lake, situated in the heart of Mongolia within Arkhangai Province, is one of the largest lakes in Mongolia, covering a surface area of 27 square kilometers. The lake has an average depth of 6.64 meters, reaching up to 15.3 meters in certain areas, and a shoreline of 23.5 kilometers. In winter, the lake is covered with ice, making it perfect for ice fishing during the fishing season.

Ulaanbaatar - Today, the journey covers approximately 370 km to Ulaanbaatar. After breakfast, the departure begins with a scenic drive through the Mongolian countryside.
