The evening commences at the Church of The Archangels, offering a splendid view and a brief tour of this intriguing, ancient church. The journey then proceeds to the Church of The Virgin Mary, and following our visit there, a short path leads us down to the Evagelistria Monastery. This monastery, nestled in a lush valley, was constructed to remain hidden from pirates. It is the only active monastery on Skiathos and boasts a captivating 200-year history, beginning with the creation of the first Greek flag.
After exploring the grounds and the local museum, which features a rare collection of icons, relics, and traditional costumes, participants will have some free time before departure.
Overall, this is a delightful way to spend part of the evening in serene and tranquil surroundings, untouched and undisturbed by modern life.
