Embark on a day expedition to the medieval Mont St Michel, an emblematic attraction of France. This enchanting UNESCO World Heritage site offers an extraordinary experience with its renowned Gothic abbey and mythical tales. After a picturesque drive from Paris crossing Normandy’s terrains, your guide will enlighten you with historical insights. The itinerary allows ample time to wander around the island, soak up the splendid bay scenes, and indulge in some shopping. Also included is a leisure lunch break at Mont Saint Michel.
- Coach journey from Paris to Mont-Michel is approx. 4-5 hours each way. The arrival back to Paris is planned around 9.30PM.
- Time spent at Mont St-Michel is approx. 4 hours
- This tour involves quite a lot of walking with steps and uphill paths so is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties
- The tour takes place all year round, so dress for the weather, including appropriate shoes!
- On September 20 and 21, the Mont Saint Michel Abbey will take part in the European Heritage Days. During these two days, admission to the Abbey will be free of charge and visits will be self-guided.

Mont Saint-Michel - The guide, NINA, was a very nice person and the explanation was very polite. It was a solo event, but I enjoyed it without any worries.

That was so good. - The trip was very comfortable and my guide, NINA, showed me around in easy to understand English, which made me feel good and safe. It was amazing to see the city, beautiful scenery and Aurora in my own eyes.

A double decker bus with soft and cushy seats, temperature appropriately maintained, friendly guide and amazing views!! - Great experience and worth visiting this long awaited heritage spot from my wishlist! Awesome views, nice weather, scrumptious food, lovely souvenirs and comfortable ride, what else could I have expected from this trip!!

I realize the conditions... - I realize the conditions make this experience challenging - namely the long drive and the short time on the island. For those who cannot see msm any other way because of logistics, but are interested, I would definitely recommend this trip but make sure to go with the guided option unless you are familiar with what you are looking for in the abbey. For me it was the guide’s stories that let me enjoy my time there, needing only an hour to cover it all. She was very knowledgeable about the subject. The only suggestion I have for the operators is when getting off the shuttle I lost the guide briefly in the crowds not knowing if I should wait or rush forward, so anything that could be done to make sure people can find the guide after the shuttle would be great

Bucket list dream - Mont Saint Michel is breath taking! Such a wonder and beauty. It was even better to see in person. It was a bucket list dream for me which did not disappoint. It is worth the long trip in the bus.
Amelia is a wonderful guide. She is so full of knowledge and is very engaging. I learnt so much about the history of Normandy and Mont Saint Michel from her. The guided tour is a must! It is so worth it. Amelia walks you through every part of Mont Saint Michel and explains all the different rooms and the history which I found so helpful. Amelia makes the day run seamlessly.

Well organized and wonderful guide - The guide Marisa explained everything very well and worried about everyone. Asking if we understood. She was kind and willing to do everything. The Fuad driver of the bus drove smoothly and calmly.

It was a great time going over - It was a long day, but worth the day trip, especially with the driver and the tour guide Marissa. Very professional very efficient and very well informed. Thought I really got the feel for the place with the knowledge.

Amazing place and great explanations. Very friendly guide and driver. - You have to wear comfortable shoes, coat, lots of patience because it is a busy place and never forget an umbrella or raincoat.
